Guest guest
Hi , Under certain circumstances with Candidiasis, the fungus proliferates, weakening the immune system, causing infections and a wide host of symptoms. Antibiotic usage can contribute to candida overgrowth as I'm sure you know. My recommendation would be identifying first, the reason for the rash. The rash could have come up for a few reasons. Not only maybe because of the Candidiasis but also since your immune system was low you're more susceptible to getting other viruses, germs, etc. I would suggest taking a few specific enzyme products to help: 2 of Enzymedica's Candidase 3x per day between meals 2 Enzymedica's Virastop each day 1 Enzymedica's Digest Gold with every meal Talyna Enzymedica's Education Dept. > > are there any common skin rashes typical with candidiasis? > > i went on antibiotics for strep last month and now for the last week and a bit i've had tiny red spots all over... they come, itch and scab over fairly quickly. > > it almost seems like chicken pox but i'm not familar with pox as i've never had it but did have a vaccination for it a few years back. > > cheers, > christine >
Guest guest
, the most important immune system strengthener noted by research is glutathione, which is made in every cell so don't think it isn't important. Cells that have lots of it resist infection, including immune cells. The skin often throws a rash when the liver isn't handling toxins well. The liver is the body's biggest glutathione user. all good, Duncan
Guest guest
Thanks Duncan- My other theory is that this 'rash' is the result of fleas but I have yet to find any on my pets or in my house. either way, if it was fleas than it's an allergic reaction which is also not too good. One question- do u get Glutathione thru whey? And another question J does Candida play a part in low iron levels? Guest guest
I don't know where you live but here in NYC there are a lot of bedbugs. You can get them just riding the subway. You can tell the bites because there are often several small bites in a row. Lots of bugs can bite and cause rashes--ticks, spiders, ants, etc. Vicky > > Thanks Duncan- > > > > My other theory is that this 'rash' is the result of fleas but I have yet to >
Guest guest
Yes. Bedbugs are very common here too. I don't have the typical bedbug pattern plus I've searched high and low for any sign. I seem to have checked into everything.. even took my cat to the vet today but no sign of fleas. The vet suggested mites. so perhaps I'll look into that a bit more. If it is a rash I see the dr. about it so I can know either way. From: candidiasis [mailto:candidiasis ] On Behalf Of multitoed Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 5:15 PM candidiasis Subject: Re: skin rash? Guest guest
, my wife who also has FM symptoms gets a few rash spots too; we're thinking detox but not sure. Candida doesn't play a direct part in low iron, no, but some co-infections may use a lot of it. Yes, we're increasing glutathione with (cold-extracted) whey and selenium. Guest guest
Duncan- what is your wife's rash like? These are like small mosquito bites that itch then scab over fairly quickly... they seem like bites but i can't ever see anything biting me. I'm still in the process of washing everything in my house!!! *sigh* From: candidiasis [mailto:candidiasis ] On Behalf Of Duncan Crow Sent: May-11-09 10:09 AM candidiasis Subject: Re: skin rash? , my wife who also has FM symptoms gets a few rash spots too; we're thinking detox but not sure. Guest guest
, Jo gets one or two, or sometimes more, pin spots that are really itchy and take a week to fade, much like bites. I think they flare on same spots. To me they resemble the detox itch I got from ozone. The doctor doesn't know, says maybe a type of eczema, not infection. Guest guest
Ya. That's sort of what I get. I don't notice it much when I'm busy but when I'm sitting around at home I notice it. I will see a dr. about it soon but not holding up any hope that they'll know what it is.. it seems to take a while for the spots to fade for me too.. especially if I scratch.
