Welcome home.

Once you get settled, I hope you will still look at balancing the PH and keeping

There are many things that you can do for HRT and feel good while doing them.

The tumour which measured 19.5 cm was a massive fibroid which contained low

grade cancer. It was called something like " lieomyosarcoma " . There were also 4

other smaller tumours found.

Congrats Helen and thank you for reporting your fibroid was probably

being eaten away by the BlockBuster All Clear. I was pretty sure it

would work, and this is a good thread to mention that many

alternative practitioners including ozone guru Dr. Pressman use oral

(not medical) proteolytic (for protein, rather than fibrinolytic for

fibrin) enzymes on cancer cells, with a similar effect, as an

adjunctive treatment.

measured 19.5 cm was a massive

The cancer was fully contained, so surgeons got it all and I'm going to be

OK. Even better than that - doctors said that I wouldn't have to have chemo or

radiation treatment. I just walk away which I find quite amazing. I'm really

glad because I decided that I wasn't gooing to have chemo etc anyway. I was

taking out the large tumour then using cesium-therapy (suggested by Duncan) to

treat the rest. But it never came that and I don't have to deal with the

pressure

of friends and family to have the chemo etc.

Could whever reads this please bring this paragraph to Duncan's attention.

Duncan - as you know I was taking the block-buster allclear for around 8 weeks

before the operation. I wanted to let you know that the biopsy report said that

within the 19.5 cm tumour, there was (within the centre) 8cm of necrotizing

tissue, which I'm guessing is the work of your medication. And that the rapid

growth of the tumor probably was swelling before necrotization as you indicated.

However, at the time, I didnt know if I just had a big fibroid, if I had

ovarian cancer, or if I had another sort of benign tumour, so I didnt know what

I

was treating and given the threat of cancer and the size of the tumour, I felt

I needed to have it out. Only 1 in 1000 fibroids are cancerous so I didn't

consider this as a real possibility

Unfortunately, I ended up with a full hysterectomy because of the cancer,

which means I'm now thrust into menopause (I've ben given HRT which I hope to

subsititute with herbal alternatives once I find out about them), but I'm alive

and making a good recovery.

I genuinely believe that all the alternative therapy (eg. the raw vegetable

juice, candida treatement) kept my cancer in check and ultimately saved my life.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and support and advice and suggestions. I

took them all on board.

Helen

Can these be plant based proteolytic enzymes, or do they have to include

pancreatin, etc.?

I have read protease is good for viruses as well. Is that true?

Thanks,

OLif, you can use plant proteolytics. Enzymes have very specific

functions but care has been taken to produce an alternative to pig

enzymes.

Hi Helen,

I have been lurking on this list for a couple of

months, but wanted to respond when I saw your email.

You see, I was also diagnosed with uterine

leiomyosarcoma almost 5 years ago. Tumor was small,

but high grade. I've spent a lot of time researching

this cancer and what I could do to try and prevent a

recurrence. Throughout the years, I've done various

alternatives including diet changes, juicing, herbs,

high dose Vit. C, ect. I also have regular scans

(chest, abdomen and pelvis) to monitor the condition,

since surgery is considered the allopathic " gold

standard " . To date, my scans have been clear for

cancer.

Helen, if I may lend you some advice. You mentioned

taking hormone replacement therapy and this is a huge

risk with leiomyosarcoma. Estrogen and progesterone

often fuel the growth of uterine leiomyosarcoma. In

fact, some with uterine leiomyosarcoma are staying in

remission by taking aromatase inhibitors (estrogen

blockers). In any event, before you take any type of

hormone replacement, request that the tumor be tested

for both estrogen and progesterone receptors. My

results were positive.

All the best to you in your recovery, Helen. Do not

hesitate to email me anytime and please know that you

are in my prayers.

Blessings,

Hi Alison

(*grin*) - I luv ya too!

Please tell me about your experience.

Please pass on any survival/thrival tips.

Did you have a full hysterectomy? If so - what did you do about losing your

ovaries and being hurled into menopause?. I don't know very much. The doctors

just threw me some HRT and said you'd better take this otherwise it can be

pretty horrible - you're now officially in menopause. I went into the operating

theatre believing I probably only had a benign fibroid and I gave strict

instuctions that if that were the case they could take the tumour and that was

all - or the tumour and the uterus if they were stuck together. I didn't prepare

myself further than that.
