Guest guest
I don't know if mine are the same as yours...but the places on my tongue are from geographic tongue and my flare ups mostly come from drinking alcohol. I brush my tongue with baking soda daily and it helps. I still have a drink occasionally when out for dinner. windofthedanube <watsonpi@...> wrote: Are mouth ulcers and sores related to candida? How does one get rid of them? Do you simply have to get rid of the candida. Anyone hear of this? --------------------------------- You snooze, you lose. Guest guest
I believe I read, that mouth ulcers and sores are caused by the Herpes Zoster Virus. You may want to try a good colloidal silver and/or a rife frequency machine to kill the virus. <>kathy<> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------ In a message dated 5/28/2007 10:13:52 AM Central Daylight Time, watsonpi@... writes: I believe mouth ulcers and sores are caused by the Herpes Zoster Virus Are mouth ulcers and sores related to candida? I thought of it being herpes. A homeopath I went to said it was candida. I also read websites that said it was candida. I haven't heard of a rife frequency, but I have heard sketchy things about colloidal silver something about it turning your skin into this ashen colour if you take it. Since I was recently drinking alcohol it caused my symptoms to get worse. I will see about getting some baking soda. I haven't had a drink in the last several days. I am keeping off the alcohol until I can get this under control.
Guest guest
Severe candida as well can produce the same symptoms of the mouth, if you google, you will find examples and pictures. The Herpes family is probably the prime suspect, but would not rule out candida; other skin conditions usually appear with candida that help make the diagnosis. Guest guest
I have had mouth ulcers and what I call a swollen tongue for most of my life! I have always found that it comes on when I am overtired and stressed out. It has been so bad in years past that I have not even been able to talk because my mouth was so sore and enflamed! BUT....I have been on the candida diet for 2 months now and have not had a flare up!! So I guess that tells me that the ulcers were caused by the foods I am allergic to, and not necessarily from the stress or lack of sleep (since I do still have those 2 factors in my life). Guest guest
I don't know what to make it this but...I had a chocolate martini and a glass of merlot Thursday night with no reaction to my tongue the next morning. I wonder if it has something to do with hormones in addition to the alcohol?? The week before last I had one glass of cabernet for dinner and my tongue was a mess the next morning!!!! windofthedanube <watsonpi@...> wrote: > > I don't know if mine are the same as yours...but the places on my tongue are from geographic tongue and my flare ups mostly come from drinking alcohol. Guest guest
My mouth ulcers haven't disappeared, but they are less visible. Believe it or not, after drinking a lot for several days before going to this diet I even saw a speck of blood from an ulcer, so I stopped drinking and have gone to this diet. I also am consuming 4 table spoons of coconut oil a day (two in the morning and two at night), and I am eating mostly protein and vegetables. It is a tough diet. I am also going to see an oriental doctor to get some advice..
