Guest guest
Duncan: I didn't exactly mean your terminology but rather your WAY of saying it. You don't just come out and say things STRAIGHT but rather go in the back door, turn around a couple of times and come out the front door. Do you know what I'm saying? Bonnie Re: Duncan's language Sorry, Bonnie, but in many cases the terminology is about a paragraph fewer words than the dumbed down version, and at that, a whole chapter outlines the background. I expect that everyone into self- reliance to eventually get up to speed by looking up the uncertain parts just as I had to. My stuff is admittedly not for the novice, but you won't be that for long and my comments will still be relevant to your newer abilities. Duncan > > I'm glad that someone else also needed to have Duncan's comments explained. I thought it was me that had the problem. I sometimes have to ask others to read what Duncan says, because I can't make it out and neither can they. > > Perhaps it is just his way of WRITING, but sometimes it seems backwards, if that makes any sense. Guest guest
Bonnie, well said. I understand what he means, just the way its said can make you rethink the statement. Never the less, he is very benifical to this gorup and i appreciate him. > > I didn't exactly mean your terminology but rather > your WAY of > saying it. Guest guest
, I may be dumb. I'd just like to understand what I'm reading. Guest guest
Bonnie, I agree Duncan is a little hard to understand and i have to read his post about five times he is extremely well informed and knows his poo as we say in Cali i do believe it might have somthing to do with living in Canada . I have a friend that lives there i can't understand his emails but when i talk to him on the phone all is well easy girls it's friday May You All Be Well Ted Bonnie Cole <bonnieview@...> wrote: , I may be dumb. Guest guest
Just my opinion, but Duncan takes his personal time to help answer questions, for FREE, about things he surely gets well paid for as a professional. So what if you have to read it five times, you are lucky that you got a response, IMO. I also remember when I first e-met Duncan I thought he was a bit rude online. Since then though I have seen a world of change in his posts. He writes so much better now, much less confronting, I have to give him credit! He clearly wants to help people and the last thing the man deserves is grief about the way he writes. Keep complaining and you might mess it up for the rest of us who appreciate him. What's the expression.. no good deed goes unpunished? Sorry if I'm a little raw on this topic but I've had a ton of times where I've tried to help people and been very generous and been complained about rather than appreciated. It really does feel terrible! Trust me I understand it can be frustrating to not understand something, but I think it's a BAD idea to take your frustration out on someone who is trying to help, just because you don't like the WAY they help! Also there are ways to phrase it politely where you don't take it out on Duncan! Luv, Debby San , CA 147 pounds lost! 95% of health issues reversed! Guest guest
I think it should be noted that NO ONE, including Duncan, has all the answers. It is up to each individual to find his/her own path to wellness. The thing I like about this site is that at least Duncan addresses more than just the candida, etc. Whey is known to detox the body of heavy metals, chemicals, etc. and raise glutathione levels tremendously. Guest guest
Duncan's approach is much more complex and effective than the other site. He looks at the whole picture and is to be commended for this. Guest guest
Duncan, We really do appreciate all the help .And i do understand your position as far as a liability standpoint .You are 100% on the mark on the brain fog it is a real problem sometimes but you allways give us the key to find it ourselves myself i'm just lazy sometimes and don't want to do the work to find the research but when i do it allways pays off Thank You Have a Swell Weekend Ted Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: I appreciate that, Debbie, and from the others too (like Ted . I'd like to point out that a lot of people on the list will have a hard time reading some of the information, not only because it's new and the terminology is new, but many or probably most still have a degree of toxin-induced brain fog. I'm reluctant to say " here, do this " because I'd need a license for that kind of approach even in Canada, but not for the approach of " check out what the research found " that a consultant takes. Guest guest
Thanks for the info on whey. Are there any health conditions that it may affect in a negative way? Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: Not sure if bringing in the other stuff is an asset or as some might see it, a trip down yet another rabbit hole but there you have it; I think in a wholistic manner so I tend to do that like Bobcat says. And, I'm the first to admit I don't have all the answers, and I'm glad people appreciate that this stuff is all VERY linked. Guest guest
The only time I had/have CFS is when I'm exposed to certain chemicals. I have MCS, which I believe is caused by my not being able to metabolize aldehydes and perhaps methanol. Molybdenum and Pantethine have helped me tremendously. But, I believe I need just a little more help. Whey? Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: Sharon, since you used the absolute, " any " health conditions, a few people have sulfur amino acid issues that may conflict with whey use. This is VERY rare but as you get more pure representations of a group of CFS sufferers for example, as opposed to a section of the general population, it comes up more occasionally than rarely. Still, reactions are infrequent and most don't have to worry about the only obligatory food of all mammals.
