Guest guest
> > Can someone share with me their experiences with a rash break out. I had tinnitus start a couple of weeks ago. About a week ago I got a series of little blisters/rash that started behind my ears and stretched around the back of my head/neck. I went to the doc also. She said she thinks it's shingles. Which is the same virus that causes chicken pox. They move into nerves and sometimes get re- awakened in adults and move along the nerves leaving a trail of blisters. I have never had chicken pox but, she does not believe in Candida (different topic). I think her basic theory could be correct as candida can be in the nerves, too. The blisters can be the result of any toxins coming out through the skin. My blisters/rash hurts though, not itches... I am suffering through with Aleve for the pain (she said aspirin would make it worse), and cold compresses when it gets really bad. I am also putting coconut oil in my ears (using cotton balls- Thanks Debby), and on the blisters a few times a day. 10 months 2 weeks 2 days
Guest guest
If it is shingles, I got rid of it in a week and a half using Colloidal silver orally every hour 20mls and colloidal silver and DMSO topically on the blisters four times a day. I also took l-lysine 1000mgs twice a day. As I say, it was gone in less than two weeks. Guest guest
The timeline is a big reason I don't necessarily agree with my doc. I have had the ringing for that amount of time already. I will try the silver as you suggest, it won't hurt anything, but it may help What is DMSO? > > If it is shingles, I got rid of it in a week and a half using Colloidal > silver orally every hour 20mls and colloidal silver and DMSO topically on > the blisters four times a day. Guest guest
I actually meant this for the shingles, not tinnitus as far as I know. DMSO is dimethylsulphoxide which is a solvent and gets the silver through the skin to the virus. Guest guest
My rash looks like eczema not blisters. But that sounds painful. My sister had the shingles once. I'll have to tell her about Colloidal Silver and DMSO. Do you think CS and DMSO would work on my rash? Guest guest
My acupuncturist was talking about this with me a few weeks back. He said I should let him know if I ever broke out in a rash, as he knows I've got a candida problem and athletes foot. He said if the athletes foot ever spread and/or I broke out in an itching rash to try and get rid of it topically asap, as it could be a stronger strain appearing. You might want to have this looked at again or perhaps there is a test you can take to determine what it is. It was small pin marks, red in color. Almost looked like eczema and very itchy. I'm going on week three and my rash spots are growing to nickel size. And now they look like eczema (all over). I went to the doctor two weeks ago and he said that this is just one of those unexplained rashes that appear and gave me " 25 mg of Hydroxyzine HCL " to take. This stuff has helped a little, but it makes me tired and want to sleep. I have a very heavy schedule with too much on my plate to sleep, I'm treating myself for my Candida problem, diet and herbs (second time around for me). But I didn't experience a rash last time. The one thing different this time around is I'm doing the Medifast diet, I have lost 25 lbs so far and oh, I started drinking diet Pepsi 4 weeks ago. The Medifast is low carb, low calorie and low fat. My sister thinks that the rash is from the melting fat cells, releasing toxins into my system, thus causing the rash. But I'm not sure about that possibility. But I itch all the time and I'm getting desperate.....My husband wants me to go to another skin doctor, but I don't think they have a clue. Could this be related to the Candida? Terry
Guest guest
I used to get awful rashes that itched like nothing I've ever experienced before. I don't have an internal solution for you. The only thing that gave me relief from the itching was oil of oregano. I would mix it with coconut oil and apply it topically. I always felt the rash was from toxin overload when I had eaten to many carbs, etc. I would either get this rash (mostly on my back and lower arms and once all over my lower legs) or oral thrush. The rash would start with just a couple spots and then start spreading all over. Just fyi if you need some relief from the itching while you're looking for an internal solution. Guest guest
Dear Terry, My sympathies to you over your rash. I have had similar outbreaks over the span of three or four years, and I know how debilitating they can be. The last one I had (almost 2 yrs ago) spread all over my trunk, sides and arms, and I looked as though I had a very bad sunburn, or even radiaition burns. It was awful. Skin leathery and thick, and just intolerable itching. It never reached any areas that were visible to the world, so I kept on with my life, but it was a constant ordeal, and terribly distressing. One thing that did help topically was lavender oil and peppermint oil. These oils somehow overpower the nerve endings so that you feel less of the itch. Also, aloe vera gel helps, as does apple cider vinegar, somewhat diluted. Above all, try not to scratch, as this only make things worse. Another topical cream that helped me was Nystatin, which you need a prescription for, and that seems to stop the itch in its tracks also. But none of these address the root problem, which you have to uncover. Doctors are not very helpful, but maybe you have a better one than I did... Please stop drinking Pepsi, or any other soft drinks. Switch to filtered, or distilled water with lemon, and drink a lot of that daily. Feed your body with only top-quality foods, such as organic vegetables, and good protein - eggs, turkey, chicken, fish - cut out the red meat for now. Eat as much raw vegetables as possible. Try a product called Activia, which has lately been of great benefit to me. It is widely available in grocery stores and helps your gut to regulate itself and empty very regularly. As well, take a cultured food, such as yougurt, kefir, or any other cultured product that has the beneficial gut organisms. Also, try some probiotic supplements that have these organisms that your body needs. You need to know that you are worth any extra cost this might entail, and you might also discover just how little food one needs to survive, which makes cost a non-issue after awhile. Be sure to get some sunshine on your skin every day, as this helps your immune system. Our skin is the largest organ of the body, and it is the last place for emergency detoxing, as it covers such a large area. For whatever reason, this infection that you have was not able to be detoxed in the liver, and has now gone to the skin to be gotten rid of - so that is the good news. It IS being gotten rid of, but this will take some time. Try to think of what happened in the months and weeks before this outbreak, and maybe you will gain some insight as to its origins. But the most important thing is to just deal with it now. It sounds as if you have a very active infection, but take heart. It WILL subside. But you have to start treating your gut for longlasting relief. That is what has finally really helped me to get it under control. It has been a process, and did not happen overnight. Even after nearly 2 years, I still have small patches here and there, but NOTHING like it was, thank God. I have completely revamped my eating habits, and I truly believe that this is the cure. Try to see this as a wakeup call for your health, and take some steps to improve your diet. Eat nothing that is processed - no processed sugars, prepared (packaged) foods, fast food, concentrated juices, or soda pop. You might even want to consider a three-day fast to kick-start your healing. Just lemon water, and lots of it...if you are a praying person, spend some time daily in meditation or prayer. Center your mind and calm your spirit. Good luck, Terry. maryjo --------------------------------- Looking for a deal? Find great prices on flights and hotels with FareChase. Guest guest
It might, but be warned---DMSO produces histamine release in the skin cells, and can cause major pain depending on the stage of the rash. With my eczema, if I start applying 10% DMSO/90% CS well before many bumps appear and the skin texture changes start, it can abort the development into full blown rash, which for me is extremely painful not only itchy. I tend to start itching days before the rash shows up. Once the eczema is really broken out though, I can't do it, because it is too painful. What I think happens is that applied early on in the process, the histamine release caused by the DMSO keeps the skin cells from building up enough histamine to really let the rash go into full stage. But I have to do it early and often, or not at all. IF the rash has gone beyond the early stage, I use CS and Aloe Vera, followed by a slathering of coconut oil. sol Palmer, Terry {PBSG} wrote: > My rash looks like eczema not blisters. Guest guest
No, I think we are at cross purposes here! Tinnitus is ringing in the ears, so I think somehow the posts have got mixed up. Guest guest
I think I may have caused the confusion. I have an issue currently that started with tinnitus and then later developed a painful blister like rash around my neck. Rash is clearing, tinnitus ringing strong:( The original poster had an itchy rash... Sorry 'bout that! > So do you think this rash could Tinnitus? > > > ________________________________ > > > >
Guest guest
You sure it wasn't an infection? I had a fire ant bite once on my wrist and scratched the heil out of it. Then underneath that same arm, in my armpit, a large sore nodule appeared. I was told it was a boil and that I probably caused an infection. I don't think I would have figured it out. Put on antibiotics.
