Guest guest
Hello Folks: In Dr. 's latest newsletter he answers a reader's question about taking Probiotics and I was surprised at what he said- " In addition to taking bacterial probiotics (which usually consist of various species of lactobacillus acidophilus), don't forget to use friendly species of yeasts to help crowd out the unfriendly yeasts and molds, such as candida albicans and others that can creep in when friendly bacteria are killed. Friendly yeasts include Saccharomyces cerevisiae (species include brewer's yeast and baker's yeast) and Saccharomyces boulardii. " Will someone comment on this? Is this a good thing to do?
