I don't know what the lambica part is, but I cured myself completely once with diet and supplements. I was given nystatin, but once you take it, you can never take it again. A friend of mine went on a diet the same time I did, he chose all natural. He is still yeast free to this day, but I have relapsed. If I can do anything to help you with information, please let me know, I have a plethora of it. Joyce. >
Guest guest
Thanks Joyce, I am a long time lurker on this group. I came here after reading Duncan's posts on the cures for cancer list. I belong to so many lists, :-)). I apologize if I didn't properly introduce myself here. I had a lumpectomy for DCIS in July 2006. Prior to that, I had been having problems with frequent diarrhea for no apparent reason. I had the normal tests and they came up with nothing. After I decided against radiation treatment for my breast cancer I decided to see a naturopathic doctor to take a more pro-active, alternative role in fighting my cancer. He ordered a more in depth series of tests to see why I had this recurring diarrhea. The diagnosis was candida lambica. After getting my liver tests back he prescribed ketoconazole (generic nizoral). He told me to call him immediately if I felt really sick. I haven't felt bad enough to feel I needed to call him. I am not a major sugar eater but I do eat a lot of fruit. I am sure this intestinal imbalance came from antibiotic usage. I lived in a 3rd world country for several years and had a few serious illnesses. I was able to find some information on candida lambica but it was mostly about skin fungus. I would appreciate any information you would like to share.
