Guest guest
He thinks that juicing, no matter what, is what I need, even though I told him that several are goitrogens and wouldn't be good for me. It didn't matter; he is right, you know. So he is doing his juicing thing, and I am doing what I need for myself. I needed to hear from someone other than DH and the thyroid forum. C. Guest guest
Yes, I am a thyroid patient. Have been hypoT most, if not all my life, and probably even before birth due to bmom's terrible situation, my birth and eventual adoption; also have adrenals problems due to that and severe family stress in recent years.. No one even thought to check my thyroid as a child; I was puffy, lethargic, fatigued, had terrible cravings even as a child; couldn't sleep (still can't and am always bone tired), had bowel problems, the list goes on and on. I don't eat a lot of cruciferous veggies, and when I do I make sure that they are cooked just enough so that they don't do me harm. C. Guest guest
I would agree that juicing would not be beneficial for many with candida. Juicing is very helpful for congested liver types, candida is normally a condition of damp spleen types, and juicing would just worse their condition
