Guest guest
Hi Elaine What is your feeling about naturally fermented sauerkraut? Keen Re: Symbiotique Pro Biotic with Propio-fidus and other powders I'm not a fan of dry probiotics in pill form. Kefir is my probiotic of choice because it has literally hundreds of species in it, all alive. Kefir has beneficial yeasts that compete with c.albicans. It also has acidophilic bacteria of many sorts, and lots of raw enzymes. The list of organisms in kefir is much too long to print here. When dealing with pills, there are several problems. The first of course is your mouth, throat and stomach never come into contact with any probiotics if you take pills. When you drink a full spectrum living probiotic, you interact with it from the moment it touches your lips. It's impossible to say how much so called " probiotic " from a pill is even alive? Then, it has to do it's thing deep in your intestine. Who knows if it even got mixed up and activated? Maybe they have to pack so many billion units into the pills to get anything out of them at all. > > Hi List > in my search for a good pro biotic to supplement the whey and Inulin, I came accross this > one, which has Propio-Fidus a proprietry Bifidus pre biotic. > Pretty pricey but Im going to try it. > Avaialble in Australia, I dont know where else? > Any comments Duncan, anyone? > > Thanks > > Byron NSW > > Description > > In addition to the high dose Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Bifidobacteria longum and > Bifidobacteria bifidum, Symbiotique presents Propio-Fidus. Guest guest
Thanks, Elaine. We eat quite a lot of it. Keen Re: Symbiotique Pro Biotic with Propio-fidus and other powders Cabbage really lends itself to fermentation as it has a lot of lacto- bacillus. naturally fermented sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables are GREAT. > > Hi Elaine > > What is your feeling about naturally fermented sauerkraut? > > Keen >
