Guest guest
I would like to add to MY own experience with Bee and her less than sincere ways. I have been sick for two years with some type of toxic exposure which was traced back to a plastic mesh being place inside my body in 1999 for hernia repair. It apparently affected my body's ability to detoxify and thus a mold exposure and nickel from dental work about did me in. I could barely function. I spent over $70,000 out of my own pocket to fight this and get the answers. I contacted Bee via email in late September about a consultation since yeast etc. have also been a part of this environmental issue with me. I told her I did not have much money and that I was waiting to have surgery to REMOVE the toxic plastic mesh in a few weeks. She told me not to worry about it and I had a phone consult with her lasting approximately 30 minutes. I told her I would send the money after my surgery and gave my word. I had the surgery approximately October 20 and was very sick for 6 weeks or so. One day I open my email to get an email from Bee stating and I quote - " If you dont send me the $55.00 you owe me NOW, I am going to expose you to not only my group but the other candida group as well. " Now the original price we had agreed upon was $30 because at the time my financial situation was not so good. So not only did she increase the price, but she then THREATENED to expose me to the groups. A week or so later, once I started back to working a bit, I mailed her the $30 that we had agreed upon. For someone in her position to THREATEN someone who had been as sick as I had been is beyond my comprehension. First, I would not have cared if she exposed me, as I had been a man of my word and did what I agreed to do. So not only to all of you, but especially to Bee, I have now as she calls it exposed myself. I have UNSUBSCRIBED to her group and to her CULTISH ways. I do'nt think she is a particularly nice person. As long as everyone bows down to HER ideas and beliefs, everything is fine, but the minute you bring up a valid point which is contradictory to her position, she turns into a NOT SO NICE person. I find the information on her much more helpful and reasonable. Best to All, Bill Dallas, Texas
Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience! I really don't want to bash Bee though I disagree with a lot of what she advocates. But, I didn't think she was any type of " health professional. " If she isn't, how can she charge anyone money for her advice? Maybe she's got some type of diploma and I missed that somewhere, but ??? I'm glad that particular post didn't actually get published here. But, I > didn't think she was any type of " health professional. " Ok... an MD can't cure yeast infections either. There are prescription medications that can make a yeast infection back off temporarily...but Bee's method " cures " them as well as an MD. A person doesn't HAVE to be an MD in order sell health care advice. They only require a license to sell drugs. Otherwise, it's just a consultation. Her time is also valuable, and she offered to spend some of it with the OP. He accepted the offer. It's called the free market. If she > isn't, how can she charge anyone money for her advice? Guest guest
Oh, Bill, That is horrible what happened to you. Exploiting the ill is just about the worse thing I can imagine. I had my own experience with the mean-spirited Queen Bee. I dared post the truth about some misinformation she gave regarding adrenals and was banned from her group. I even had two of her 'disciples/henchmen' contact me reinforcing the condemnation. And someone on this list tried to challenge the ridiculous notion that sea salt has all the trace minerals after it was PROVEN to her be deficient in most minerals except sodium and chloride. So, her preaching to NOT take trace minerals to balance the very high vitamin recommendations is outright DANGEROUS! Cultish ways indeed! She claims to help people for altruistic reasons. To CHARGE for her incorrect/outdated information is the ulitmate in betrayal/arrogance. Bill, hang in there and thanks for exposing Bee's TRUE intentions. Guest guest
I think that Bee's tips are actually dangerous. Once a girl asked if blood in her stool is normal and I posted a message saying that she should seek a doctor (blood can be a sign of serious conditions, it doesn't have to be ). She filtered out my message and answered the girl that her condition is absolutely normal. Than I read a post where a woman was having horrible reactions to butter and asked if she should continue eating it. Bee, of course, suggested her to keep eating butter. A lot of people are lactose intolerant and just can't have have milk products. Have you ever read her group policies? Somewhere it says something like " posts, which put Bee's theories in question are not allowed " , of course expressed in a more eloquent way. Needless to say I canceled my subscription already. Guest guest
Yes, I had an experience on the other group myself recently that I found rather surprising and not overly pleasant. I felt profoundly sorry for one member in particular and ashamed of those who had responded to her in the manner they did. NOT IMPRESSED. Guest guest
It causes me a degree of anguish to know that many members of the group are following myths and even harmful advice in good faith because they don't know any different. I've been terminated from candidasuport membership at least three times for contacting members privately about it, and I'll probably be banned from this group too if I'm caught doing it again. Question: can we find a way to get some of those souls over here to compare notes? Perhaps a distributed approach would be effective Leaving them to their own devices over there seems unconscionable to me. Guest guest
Hi Duncan, well for me, I have enjoyed observing both groups and it seems sad that those on the other group may miss out on a few approaches here that maybe aiding people further, OR may suit people better. I'm learning much more by seeing both approaches and hearing all views....and I wish the same for others. What a pity you've been banned for that! However, I don't see why the distributed approach can't be put into some action > > It causes me a degree of anguish to know that many members of the > group are following myths and even harmful advice in > good faith because they don't know any different. > > I've been terminated from candidasuport membership at least three > times for contacting members privately about it, and I'll probably > be banned from this group too if I'm caught doing it again. > > Question: can we find a way to get some of those souls over here to > compare notes? Guest guest
Greetings All No one can ban you from this group with out being the owner or a moderator. This is Curezone's group not Bee's!!! has a hand in determining what is coincided harassment and sending unwanted mails is not a thing that they take lightly. If you feel for the people over on her group, keep this one on a positive note and they will come if that is right for them. These things have a way of working out. Guest guest
Hi Niemma, I agree! But I have to say, if it was not for Duncan emailing me quite some time ago and simply passing on the link to this group, I would not have found it! So for me? Far from being unwanted or harrassment of any kind, I was grateful for knowing this group existed! It's interesting for me as a sufferer to have access to both groups and seeing people's responses, whether positive or problematic. It's most helpful. Guest guest
I am glad that you found us!!! thank you for sharing that! I still have to warn you and anyone else about sending unsolicited emails. It could get this group removed!!! So, if you want things to happen, then just be patient and let it flow so others will have this group in the future. fats_malone2002 <signposts8@...> wrote: Hi Niemma, I agree! Guest guest
Someone else e-mailed me about this group too or I wouldn't have known about it. I lurked a while before I actually joined, but am so glad someone told me about it. Problem is if you start e-mailing anyone over there someone will report it to Bee and she and the other mods will be on the warpath. I recently e-mailed a person over there but just shared my experience as she was having some of the same problems I did. I didn't tell her about this group. I figured if she e-mailed me back then I might be able to recommend it. It breaks my heart to see some of the posts over there about how much people are suffering and not be able to do anything about it. Many won't listen though and just follow blindly along. Guest guest
Thanks to all for discussing this here. I too have been watching what goes on at the other forum. When I tried to give advise about blood in the urine and bowel I was filtered out too and privately told that my opinion was not needed. Not a democractic place to be at all. Guest guest
I hope you aren't banned from this group, Duncan. You have been very helpful and a lot of people seem to have healed very well after taking your advice. If you are banned, you must start up your own group and let us all have the details. Maybe someone who is on the group can circulate this groups list details (but it will probably mean being kicked off that group!). Guest guest
Schweezy, people on Bee's group continue to be lactose intolerant because she discourages the use of inulin. When people have adequate inulin in their diet the probiotic count is elevated and the probiotics eat the lactose so it doesn't cause indigestion. This is actually part of the prebiotic studies that Bee discourages discussion of on her friendly, marginally helpful list Duncan > > > > > > I would like to add to MY own experience with Bee and her less than > > sincere > > > ways. > > > > > > I have been sick for two years with some type of toxic exposure > > which was > > > traced back to a plastic mesh being place inside my body in 1999 for > > hernia > > > repair. Guest guest
I was asked to join this group (from Bee's group) in a very positive and non-judgemental way. I quickly discovered that the moderator was not always so positive. I posted occasionally when I first joined this board, but very quickly I received condescending responses and it culminated with the moderator telling me that what I was going through at the moment was NOT possible. Then I was dismissed. I have never felt or experienced anything like that on Bee's site. I still linger on this board to hear what other people have to say as I value multiple opinions and viewpoints and think there is good information here, but I think both boards have a 'my way or the highway' attitude. IMHO I think being a member to only one input is not the best way to go, but I also think it is hardly detrimental for a person to belong to only Bee's group, or this one, or any other one for that matter. Let's all remember what we are here, and there for: Candida. > It causes me a degree of anguish to know that many members of the > group are following myths and even harmful advice in > good faith because they don't know any different. Guest guest
Hi Sk, I belong to both groups and just try and gain what info I can. I've had a few annoyances on both also at times, and mostly I move on and just enjoy the good from it. Only very occassionally have I got angry enough to speak out (which i did on Bee's recently). So I do understand what you're saying. I've had drawbacks on both groups and good on both also. So I try and weigh it up and simply gain positives that I can for what I'm going through. > I value multiple opinions and viewpoints and think there is good > information here, but I think both boards have a 'my way or the > highway' attitude. Guest guest
Hi Duncan and Everyone, I'm new here. Some of you know me, from Bee's group, LOL! Ban yesterday for demanding an apology because the Bee Yatch covertly called me a liar at her group. (You can read more here: http://bee-wilder.blogspot.com/ ) About three weeks ago I had all the symptoms of a heart attack: pressure in the chest area, feeling like my heart was being squeezed, shortness of breath, pain between my shoulder blades, then progressively more intense tightness in the chest area, increasing difficulty breathing, basically all classic symptoms of a heart attack. I chose not to call 911 (Bee says those people will kill you and it's legal!) so I figured I could croak on my own. Took some B complex plus extra B6, B12 and slowly the symptoms eased up. I rode it out and made it thru. So the next day I post at the group, trying to see if anyone has gone thru the same. Sure enough, I got emails of kind members who've felt the same way in the past. I stayed off the group for like 2 weeks and last week was appalled to see that, incited by Bee's brainless minion, " Luv Debra in San or San Diego " (I forget!) a few posters, P something and , had started calling me names and this was not discouraged by the mods, it was encouraged by Debra! She called it tough love! (Wait until I grab her " gorgeous " svelte pix and create my own " tough love " post at my brand new blog!) Anyway, it's a good thing I didn't log in all that time. What were they trying, to finish me off with another heart attack? A good thing I don't let stupidity get to me in that way. Oh, no. And I don't stay quiet either. So I posted at the beeyatch's group, told that her maliciousness spoke volumes about her, not me. The delusional insect posted back that it was not an okay post and that if I had been " trully [sic] sick " I would have called an ambulance? Oh really miss control freak? Who put it in my head that the established American medical system are legal murderers?? So I wrote to her demanding an apology. I mean is she going to say that an elderly that carries a " do not resucitate " card is really not that dead?! Anyway, she promptly apologized: by banning me from the group and sending me a copy of her rules. I promptly send her a love note of my own: the link to my blog! I think that this woman has some serious issues beyond control. Her advice is dangerous and she needs to be held accountable. What can we do?? Guest guest
HIya I'm so glad to see you over here!!! You concerns and disgust is shared by me and others and I was appaulled at how they responded to you regarding that attack you had and that was basically pretty much was the clincher for me. I'd heard about them from others, but saw it for myself in all it's " unglory " . Saddened by it and not surprised. Nobody is fooled trust me They were desperately trying to throw doubts on your circumstances and you as a person and did it in a very condescending, rather clever manner to attempt to make themselves look " ok " in the process all in the name of protecting the diet. The funny this is, you didn't throw doubts on the diet at all (they accused you of that), but instead you had a surprising attack, a distressing one and you simply made the intelligent decision to " ease off " a few things for awhile as you really did not know what you were dealing with. That didn't matter, you were still belittled by them because in their eyes you were throwing doubts on aspects of the diet or the fat intake and " how dare you " I am just glad you are " ok " and hope this does not occur again. I am sorry for the superior behaviours of those who responded to your plight in the manner they did! Cheers . > Hi Duncan and Everyone, I'm new here. Guest guest
Welcome I regret you had a bad experience at the other group. This one has proven to be the answer for me. Myth-busting is this groups forte. Opinions differing from the groups moderator are allowed so we can discuss things like adults and come to our own conclusions. A combination of science, anthropological evidence and common sense prevail here. Personally I have benefitted tremendously and feel extremly fortunate to have found this particular group. May you experience excellent health and vitality. Rock > > Hi Duncan and Everyone, I'm new here. Some of you know me, Chris from > Bee's group, LOL! Guest guest
, I don't really think you are in a position to " put words in Chris' mouth " , but being the cronie worshiper you are on Bee's site, nothing you have said or done really surprises me. Until you have felt how it feels to walk in her shoes, why don't you try keeping your mouth shut and allowing her the courtesy to say how she feels and why. Your babbling on about WHAT YOU THINK happened wreaks of the arrogance on Bee's website. ANY of us who spoke our mind over there were chastized and criticized for even questioning. And as far Bee's personal reactions, I found out all too well about her and her not so above-board qualities. Those of us with COMMON SENSE have moved on. Please leave us alone. She has done alot of research but her diet is not hers and hers alone. she combined many other programs together and came up with her diet Right in her rules she states that we cannot disagree. So it is a p lace to go to learn and accept it or not. sue ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Need a quick answer? Guest guest
Hi, I am " the " of Chris's post. And although I am on board with the notion that there is something not right with Bee, you will all realize in short time that there is also something up with Chris. Nothing I read on Bee's list about your 'heart attack' was out of line. Except probably my rude comment about you needing a psychiatrist for which I immediately apologized. You were initially scared and upset. Quite understandable, with your symptom picture. Your vanishing act reads to me that you backed yourself into a corner and when you felt better, you felt silly and had to disappear, hoping it would all die down. You were and are the one out of line here. You manipulated people who were with you and willing to support you and were genuinely worried about you. And then you pop back up, 2 WEEKS after the fact, all cheery and flippant, like no big deal. That's why Bee was annoyed with you and I totally get where that was coming from and my post reflected that. Her post was brief and there was no name calling. We all feel sick and are having scary symptoms. But a few weeks/days on a diet are not going to be the cause of anyone's heart attack or cancer as your blog states. Your inability to shrug it off, get over it, move on might, however, have something to do with your symptomology. Your vengefulness and desire to " get everyone on your side " could be part of it. Your anger is a little over the top.
