Chocolate Coconut Drops Buy some Traders Joe's Pound Plus 72% Dark Chocolate In a saucepan melt 9 squares with 1/3 stick real butter on low When melted, add organic unsweetened coconut flakes until chunky Stir and add one packet Stevia Optional: a portion of chopped cashews Drop into waxed paper or tin foil on a cookie sheet and refrigerate. These are very good, especially if you like dark chocolate, or if you haven't had anything sweet in a looooong time, they are very satisfying. 9 squares of chocolate has 39 grams of sugar and made around 11 nice size candies. This equates to around 4+ grams of sugar per candy. If you eat only one in a day, you will not do any harm. Moderation is the key and as with any good solid program, you have to allow yourself some room or you will be doomed to failure. Making a good choice and feeling satisfied is better than denying yourself and then falling off the wagon on a binge. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
