Breast milk is incredibly LOW in protein -- just under 5% of calories:

Yeah; I think I was just focusing on the part about it being the

protein component that builds the baby mammal. Maybe I should have

just mentioned there's no ill effect from long-term undenatured whey

eating in practice in the adult population, which applies better

anyway.

The protein is part of that, but the sugars and fats (and obviously

the micronutrients) are essential to building the baby mammal too.

By the way, sorry for dropping the salt discussion out of the blue

last month. I was very busy with school, GREs, applications, etc, and

I'll have some time to resume the discussion in the next couple of

weeks.
