Guest guest
Bloating could be due to a parasite infection, in which case a parasite cleanse would be quite helpful. See www.curezone.com (Hulda parasite cleanse link) for the herbs necessary for this cleanse - and she has information on how to dose for children as well. A long term parasite infection will also lead to leaky gut syndrome, which will cause all sorts of intestinal problems and nutritional deficiencies, and even food sensitivities (in my family, the food intolerances change every once in a while, so they're not allergies, but some sort of sensitivity probably cause by leaky gut). I would also try to find a kinesiologist, who can muscle test for hidden food allergies / intolerances / sensitivities, which could be causing the problems. They can also determine what kinds of supplements could be helpful. Could it be that she's lactose intolerant but is ingesting milk in other forms - cheese, yogurt, as an additive in other foods, etc.? It could also be celioac disease - where the body is unable to digest gluten (found not only in wheat, but also in spelt and other grains). A kinesiologist can detect all of this. Some people don't have much faith in kinesiology, but it is what has saved my family's life, so I swear by it!! good luck! > 4 year old girl with chronic yeast infections > > > I'm wondering if anyone out there has any wisdom on chronic > vagainal yeast infections for > children. Guest guest
Did your daughter ever go on antibiotics even ONCE as a toddler? If so, that explains it. She can be helped, totally, with diet and supplements. Consider it a blessing in disguise: How much better to beat candida and be aware of it at her young age than to be ill throughout adulthood and have it really affect your self-esteem, quality of life, relationships and more. She is lucky to have a mom like you, too! Kids usually respond quicker, too, to any treatment (just ask your chiropractor), so simply getting her on an anti-candida regimen for awhile should solve it. Do you need some ideas about where to start? She needs plenty of probiotics and NO sugar, not even fruit sugar. Give her good anti-fungals, like some Grapefruit Seed Extract in fresh squeezed lemon juice and stevia " lemonade " , PLENTY of garlic, olive leaf extract capsules, and more. I would supplement with a good probiotic, too, on top of any kombucha. :-) Pick up SICK AND TIRED: RECLAIM YOUR INNER TERRAIN and THE BODY ECOLOGY DIET, maybe, too. a a Albanese School Of RAWk Certified Raw Chef, Raw Nutritionist and Health Coach Advanced Practitioner of The Living Foods Lifestyle www.SchoolOfRAWk.com Coming Soon! Guest guest
Thanks for the info. My husband and I were just talking about getting her book. I'm terrified of worms so if she has any.... I'll be so grossed out! But at least we'll be thankful that we got to the source. I'll try getting the kinesiology testing on her with the food, too. That was a great idea. Our chiropractor tests all her supplements but I haven't thought of the bread! Thanks for the great ideas! --- Asli Kumcu <magnecho@...> wrote: > Bloating could be due to a parasite infection, in > which case a parasite > cleanse would be quite helpful. Guest guest
Glad to help! Yeah the whole parasites thing is a bit disgusting... but actually not all parasites are visible, they can just be tiny microbes as well. If you go the parasite cleansing route, it's a good idea to dose the whole family, so that you don't give it to each other, and do a good round of washing sheets, cleaning the bathroom, etc. Do you keep pets? Does anyone in the family travel frequently? For the stevia - you need to use 1/16 th of a teaspoon stevia for one teasooon sugar (or something like that) - it's VERY potent!!! For the muscle testing - if you want to know how to muscle test at home, you can email me off line and we can discuss it - it's quite easy. And for the recovery time -- well I have heard that it takes as long to heal as it took to get sick... but I personally think that really depends on each person's lifestyle and capacity .. assuming you can find the right combination of supplements / cleanses / etc, there is no reason that a fairly healthy 4 year old shouldn't heal pretty quickly. For example, my sister's allergies were caught when she was 5, and she's much much much healthier now than I was at her age (mine weren't found til i was 12) - not to say every body isn't different, but I am sure that the longer you're poisoned the longer it takes to heal, and vice versa. As for diet, you will hear a few different methods - some recommend cutting out all sugar completely, including all fruits, but some find that a bit excessive... I think it really depends, each person reacts differently, and there is no one ideal candida diet. Some fruits cause more problems than others. I read somewhere that less-sweet apples may not be too bad if you can tolerate them, whereas other fruits have a much higher sugar content .. and in fact your daughter needs her vitamins and good nutrition, so I wouldn't cut everything out if i were you. Others may object, but I would be wary of limiting her diet too much, since she is only 4. It's probaby more important to cut out bread than it to eliminate apples. (In fact next time you go to the chiropractor take some apples with you and get them to test the apples!) Be careful though the applesauce doesn't have added sugar. asli > RE: 4 year old girl with chronic yeast infections > > > Thanks for the info.
