Company has to have more than 18 employees, which if you work for a national co. you may get by, it covers you if you call out sick, wont pay you unless you have time( vac. sick leave, comp.,)but will set you up where they can't fire you for calling out. need an MD excuse, usually good for 1 year, and must be very specific when you call out stating you are FMLA. renewable every year. worth looking into!
