Hi

Monday, start burning up the phone lines.

- Call Child Protective Services. I dont know what Depts that would fall under.

Explain your situation to them, and tell them that your family is being booted into the street, and that have a child.

I believe they can put a hold on you all being evicted, or at least help find you another place to live [shelter, motel, etc.]

- Call SRS, and tell them that you need some help with money resources.

- Call the Health Dept, HUD, churches, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Community Orgs and Action Groups, etc.

- Call every Govt office in Somerset, and for the County.

- Call your State and Federal Congress people, and even the State Govenors office if you have to.

- Your getting Food Stamps, call you caseworker.

- Look in the newspapers.

- Call your Hep C doctors office.

- Call Mental Health organizations. [This doesnt mean you are crazy, but they can council, and also have resources.]

- Do either of you have family that can help?

God I dont even know what all to tell you, but you live very close to the biggest city in the USA - New York City.

You also live north of Trenton and Phili.

Millions and millions of people.

There MUST be resources out the yin yang, and some that you havent tapped into yet.

Have you ever applied for SSI or SSDI?

SSI is for the broke and disabled. SSDI is for disabled and goes by past earnings.

Now, change of subject:

I know that the worry and stress is killing you, not to mention the fear and hopelessness.

I know the 'trapped' feeling of not having a car too. Its a drag.

My heart goes out to you BIG TIME, .

You know you need to hang in there, continue caring for your child, but you have to take care of yourself too. Eat right, drink water, sleep, exercise, rest, think as positive as you can.

Your child needs her Mom. Your man needs his lady.

The whole world needs YOU.

There are folks that love you.

The people in this group love you.

We will do our best to help, and support you.

You are not alone.
