Hi everyone,I had my first post-op with my surgeon this morning. Other than loose stools 5-6 times a day or more i'm doing ok. He gave me a script for the bowel problem and said It should stop after a while. While I was under for the surgery he saw what my liver looked like so he did a biopsy and in the 2 yrs since my last biopsy (A)I have gone from a grade 1 to a grade 3 with moderate-severe portal inflammation, interface hepatitis and lobular spotty necrosis.(B)cirrhosis( stage4) showing bridging fibrosis and nodular regeneration.They faxed a copy of the findings they gave me to my gastro.I'm so bummed out right now. It's all so much more real. I've been crying off and on since I got home. Now I have to tell Dave (hubby) about the change.Debbie in Wa.
