Guest guest
I am a 47 year old female with HepC and HIV for 12 years. My question is: Has anyone ever experienced severe spasm like pain in the liver area? Also< I am having alot of back pain????? I am new to the group and feel lost and afraid. I have gone through the Ribovarin and Interferon treatments twice without success. I would appreciate any comments. Thank you.
Guest guest
nna,I think I know the pain you are describing... does it feel like somebody has just hit you in the liver with a baseball bat? Takes your breath away for a bit. I get that one every once in awhile. I'm Teri, I'm 52 and have gone thru treatment for Hep C from 2005-2006. Tx worked. I have been SVR for 5 years now. But I still get that pain. And it's a killer when I get it. Usually it happens when I am doing too much or if I'm run down or sometimes for no apparent reason other than the Cubs want to have batting practice with my liver. I do have Fibromyalgia and my liver still gets inflamed. I find that I have those pains the most when I am retaining water. My feet can swell up so bad that they look like elephant feet. That's when the pain usually hits the worst. Am I on the right track with describing your pain?Welcome to the group....Hugs,Teri in Gurnee From: juliaana22 <juliaana22@...> Sent: Fri, July 9, 2010 3:48:53 PMSubject: [ ] Pain associated with Hep C Class 3 I am a 47 year old female with HepC and HIV for 12 years.
