Hi

Our bodies produce Interferon naturally.

We can feel the effects of this when we get sick - fever, chills, fatigue, etc.

When we take HCV TX, we feel these same sides as it is working to heal us.

To manufacture and utilize Interferon correctly, our bodies divert many minerals, vitamins, animo acids, and so forth.

The same thing happens weither we produce our own Interferon, or use treatment.

We can become depleted.

I dont have ready-set-go articles about this topic, but I shall try to find some.

I have read it tho, and may have some in the Library.

I will look.

I agree, there is conflicting info being made public.

But you have to remember Interferon TX has only been used since the 1990's, and Riba since 2001.

All HCV TX info is very young yet, and there new finding almost daily, all from different sources.

In 20 years many things will be 'facts', readily available.

This one reason I say to use sups, but in moderation, until more is known.

Hi Don,

Sorry to bug you again. These links you provide don’t make sense. I am not questioning you, just the media – which is exactly why people are so confused about what supplements are ok to take or not to take..so many mixed messages.

The first link here says not to take vitamin A over the daily dose, the second says high dose vitamin A helps HCV treatment.

Just like the other day we were saying that metformin is contraindicated in liver disease, yet is said to be helpful in HCV treatment.

Just doesn’t make sense…….unless Tx depletes nutrients? Is there any info on that? Might be interesting to know.
