Guest guest
Thanks Don this is really helpful. I don't think our insurance will continue to cover all the way through tx. I was wondering what I would do if I got part way through and it stopped helping me. This is something I can check into at least. Thanks so much. Guest guest
Thanks Don, I will check it out. My husband says I have like so much money I am allowed to spend in a lifetime on my insurance on bluecross blueshield and when it reaches it wham that is all. So I could get half way through tx and just get cut off and end up worse off than if I had not done tx at all. The doc said the Hep C would mutate or whatever if I stopped before tx was done. I am scared. I feel I am sure getting sent to docs a lot but I know I need the appts but my husband says they are running the bills up. I have the arthritis doc this thursday in Kansas City Med Center with the RA doc up there. I will get seen by three docs and they will decide what kind of arthritis I have. Then if he gives me meds it will be off to the surgery eye doc to make sure my retina in my eyes don't detach. and then to regular doc since I got seen my other docs and the hep doc is in June. Just feels like they got me seeing so many and am afraid my insurance will run out before tx. But don't know how else to do it. They really have gotten to depending on me an awful lot at work too. I hope they can understand if I can't do as much some day. Shoot last night was a nightmare. Some man had the craps all over the place 5 times. Another one was down the hall pissing all over the wall. The dryer isn't working. The hot water isn't on or working. We haven't got a dishwasher there or a kitchen floor there. Why don't they just shoot me. I am just trying my heart out to do everything as normal as possible and I feel like crap myself. I hurt like a really old person. This morning I was ready to scream. The girl shows up to relieve me over a half hour late. Then just comes in and gets on the phone and fights with her boyfriend. So I am having a rough time. I am suppose to have it all under control. Then we have someone come visit their uncle. I was able to make everything look normal. Okay. I vented. Dont' know if I feel better but I am trying. Thanks. Big hugs. You sure are nice Don. Guest guest
Hi I dont know how some of you all do it. I rarely get out of bed, and couldnt work if my life depended on it. Most days I feel like crap. Even with my meds, I still hurt. The best I can do is sit here at the computer, and try to get something done. Dishes, well they will have to wait. Thank God I have a routeen set up on the computer so I can lose myself all day, and not think about how I feel. Most of you amaze me, going about your daily lives, some even on TX. It humbles me, because I can just imagine how hard it is for you all to keep plugging away. , dont worry to much about being able to get meds for TX. Once you start, I think the doctors will have resources to keep you going, and if they dont, the Pharm companys will. Or someone. I have been trying to make sence out of the Obama HC plan, because I have been worried that maybe by the time I have to do TX, my Medicaid wont pay for it. Its all I have to depend on. But Im keeping positive. Im going to get this dragon, and kick its butt, or die trying. Is there some lighter duty your boss can give you at work to do? Have you tried to ask them about it, and tell them the difficulty your having? I know its touchy, but it may be worth it. Hang in there my friend, somehow we will all get through today. Dont even think about tomarrow. love don in ks From: Christ <ludichrist2000>Subject: [ ] Medical Insurance and Hepatitis C VIDEO"Hepatitis C" <Hepatitis C@gro ups.com>, "WebWarriors grp" < >Date: Monday, April 5, 2010, 4:46 PM Medical Insurance and Hepatitis C VIDEO http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=SExE1TWW9kU
Guest guest
I am actually doing about the lightest duty there is right now. That is why I went back to school to get my med aide license so I cold get paid more and do less when the nurse aides were around. when they are around I do meds and they do manual work. I help when I have time but I mainly do meds in the morning right before I get off. I usually have them all set up by 8 pm the night before so I don't have to do them in the morning. I do the night meds then too. Then do my tuck ins on the people who can't remember to get undressed and to bed. Some have to be walked through every little thing. We have one bed bound man we do everything for. I am reading to him every night. The other aides all say they have to dope him up or he yells all the time. I read to him and he is quiet. I usually read an hour.He can't read any more and he used to be a book worm. So he liked reading westerns. He is a flirt too. I just have to ignore that. He has been on hospice before. He got better though. He won't be with us long I feel for his legs are starting to show signs of motteling. He pockets food and can't remember to swallow water. He is loosing ground. So that is what I do. I used to work for Hospice. I am glad I don't any more. Kind of nice to not do that every single day. I loved being there for those people but gosh it was a drag that everybody you saw had to deal with death. But I still see those families places and they still come up to me and hug me and are glad to see me. Thanks but what you do every day just finding all this information is a lot too Don. I would not even begin to know where all to look to find all this info you find. Then you even take the time to explain it all to us and walk us all through it. You are really special. In a good way.I did not mean that bad silly. In a great way. I hope I can continue to keep working through chemo I don't know if I can but I will give it a try. I want to. My boss wants me too. My husband really wants me too. Anyway. Big big hugs. If I ever see you around you are getting a great big hug. Cinder Got to go to bed. Got to do 15 hours tonight.
