Guest guest
Hi Beth Thyroid disorders, diabetes2, and some other conditions seem to be VERY related to HCV, and HCV TX. I have tried to list them as I find info on them in the HCV Links Library - ALL folders 011. http://health.dir./group/ /links I have heard many people say that Interferon and Ribavirin are poison, and if this is so, its a real shame that Heppers have no other opitions but to trade off one health condition for another health condition. This is why I am so excited about all the new TX options being researched, some that dont include the I/R TX. But having said that, liver disease is a very touchy subject, no matter what treatments they come up with. There is very likely going to be health sides with any new drug protocal. My heart doc refuses to let me do the I/R TX, because the Interferon may kill my heart. So I am hoping that if I eat right, and take care of myself, perhaps my liver can last long enough to try some future treatment. Right now my labs are staying nearly normal except for my viral load. Hopefully this is a sign that I can last until less deadly meds hit the street. love don in ks Thanks Don, I have been batteling thyroid problems since treatment I appreciate the site.
