Hepatitis March on Washington, Rally in San Francisco Set for May 19

SUMMARY: On May 19 -- World Hepatitis Day -- the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable (NVHR) and other advocacy organizations including Project Inform and the Treatment Action Group will participate in a March on Washington. NVHR expects hundreds of advocates to gather outside the U.S. Capitol building to demand full funding to fight the hepatitis B and C epidemics. On the same day in San Francisco, the city's Hepatitis C Task Force will hold a rally and press conference at noon on the steps of City Hall.
