Guest guest
Hi Hey, glad to hear from you, and thank you very much for the info & links. Im not sure what kind of Folic Acid I take, it doesnt say. It is marketed by DG, and says 'all natural/wemons' on the bottle. I buy it, and all my sups at the health food store. Im assuming they carry good brands because I sure pay enough for them. LOL :-) I go with my old Dad. He's sort of a nutripath, and provides me with a lot of diet info. I only take the FA sup occasionally to add to my food intake of it. I prefer natural sources of sups in food, but sometimes I dont eat so good. Folic Acid is supposed to help with anemia, teeth/bones, DNA repair, mental health, heart disease, and much more. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folic_acid http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=folic%20acid & type= Thanks again . Post more often if you can. We would all love to talk with you. Stay well my friend. love don in ks Hey Don, McGovern here a long time lurker and very infrequent poster. I noticed you have folic acid on your list. Just thought I'd make a quick pitch for the methylated form (methyl folate). Two reasons...it seems to not be as dangerous as the common folic acid form (see link #1 below). It's also been very helpful for some people who have been resistant to anti-depressants:http://www.healthknot.com/folic_acid_cancer.htmlhttp://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/study-shows-combining-l-methylfolate-with-an-antidepressant-at-the-start-of-treatment-significantly-improves-depression-symptoms-94766094.htmlCheers, McGovern
