Guest guest
-- I have a few questions. I work in a office at a desk all day and I need to buy a good chair does anyone have any ideas what one is good. Yes, there is a great one that is out there. Check out www.adaptiveliving.com for the Ergo Chair. You can also find this link through www.lpaonline.org. The Ergo Chair is fabulous; it's built specifically for folks with dwarfism and is adjustable. I am now on my 7th one (insert a very long story here) and they are great. The footrest is optional but well worth the price. Also, since you are working this should be covered under the ADA as reasonable accomidations. You might want to check with someone who has more knowledge than I do. -- Another thing, do the bottom wipers really work? Yes, they do. The best one IMO can be purchased at this website. http://ecom1.sammonspreston.com/sammons/toiletAid.html These folks have the best price. I love the folding one as it is portable and can slip into a purse or pocket. Good luck. Hope this helps. Rose
Guest guest
I don't know what you mean by " can I pass the virus right now? " Probably you are bleeding easier is because your platetes are low. The platetes are your clotting factor. Neither epogen or nupogen would help your platetes. Vitamin K and extra calcium might help with that...asjk your doctor to run a blood chemistry panel to be sure. When your plateles drop to 50,000 you need to go on half dose of the interferon...at 25,000 you get pulled from treatment. My platelets too a nose dive during treatment and I pulled them up from 60,000 to 84,000 two weeks later....I'd added vitamin K and calcium to my regime. Both vitamin k and extra calcium help produce platelets so my theory was that if treatment were destroying my plateletes, I needed to create more platelete to pull my count up. Did it work? It either worked or I had an inaccurate test. Tatezi couple of questions I hate to only ask questions. I don't seem to ever have anything to contribute, but I certainly thank ya'll for being here for me. First, since my 6 month test came back virus free, then can I pass the virus right now? Second, does these meds make you bleed easier? I am also taking neupogen and epogen so maybe it is one of those, but was curious. Thanks. <><Tammie><>

Guest guest
I think she means because she's pcr undetected. The answer is maybe, I think. Just because you are undetected doesn't mean you are absolutely positively virus free, but it's as much as we can measure at this time. Best to ask your doc. I know that anytime we have the antibodies, we cannot donate blood. So I'd say they don't want it getting around and don't want to worry about whether it's active or not. (b is more complicated about who is active and not). If you have C antibodies, would a person be able to transmit the virus? I dunno. Good question. Guest guest
Vitamin K is what Father Sun gives us. But during treatment we need more then at other times in our lives. Talking a supplement is just fine and it will help your bone marrow create more platelets., Re: couple of questions > I don't know what you mean by > > " can I pass the virus right now? Guest guest
Hi Mike, Thats quite inspiring that you hip has lasted 26 years (or more!) and you were 25? when you got it replaced. What kind of hip was it? Charnley, Exeter, some other brand? Its also great news to me that your stems till going strong as I opted for an older fashioned metal/poly cemented hip (Exeter). Your cup revision should be straight forward I suspect. It seems with the cement its trickyer to remove it from the femur although I havent experienced either. My PT says upright bikes are best. And make sure the seat is high so you are not bringing your knee up to your chest. Best of luck with your fitness routine! Leigh > > Hi, I'm new to the group. I am a 51 year old male. Guest guest
Although, I do not know exactly what is in the whole of the interior of the box, I do know there is a sample testing kit for supplements he uses, and you can send in an old box to have that kit updated for $300 Eu. because he adds to it so if you've had your machine for a few years you might which to do this. I have seen the interior of the box when going through the airport. They allowed me to watch it being scanned and it is not empty. Yours in Health, Kathy couple of questions Hello all, Could anyone share any knowledge of these two ?'s that a gal that is wanting to purchase a SCIO has asked me? 1) What degrees does Dr. have? Can you find that on the internet? She has been told and can not find them. I remember him telling the story of his experience of going to medical school and not wanting to take the oath. 2) If you open the box of the SCIO what are the items that are in it? She was told there was nothing in the box. I remember Dr. sharing about this in cancun but, did not take notes, or can not find it. Details please. Thanks so much, blessings to all Sharon .............................................

Guest guest
A lot of the replacing of foods has to be done with a whole new category instead of a same but different. (Understand?) (ie - real cheese and fake cheese, both are bad) You retrain the brain as to like and dislikes. However you do it, the quicker you do it the quicker you get results. And it is a constant and personal learning experience. There is lots of good info from this group but everyone has to figure out how it best applies to them. Each individual has their own little quirks. A word of warning - watch out the denial. ;-) Kathy jdr_referral <jdr_referral@...> wrote: Hi everyone, Thanks for the welcomes. I have a couple of questions. The first one is; How did you guys start off? I know everyone is different. Just wondering which works best. The cold turkey method (stopping all " avoid foods " and adding " highly beneficial " foods at one time) or the one at a time elemination method (stopping one " avoid food " at a time replacing it with a " highly beneficial " food)? Next, I have always had to watch how much wheat I eat due to allergic reactions. (although i've always cheated some) I have relied on corn procucts to take the place of wheat. For example, I would eat corn chips, corn tortillas, corn tortilla chips. I didn't realize how often I ate these things until I started trying not to. I don't get the allergic reaction when eating corn products, but I've been dibetic for about 1 1/2 years. And I've noticed that I get the shakes and a headache a couple of hours after eating this stuff. So, my question is, Have any of you guys found something to kinda take the place of those foods? Like a certain kind of chips or wraps? Or do you just do without? Joan

But they sound interesting, > how to they come (box, bag, freezer section)? Kohlrabi is a weird looking vegetable, not well known, sometimes hard to find in the fresh veg section. It's usually sold with the leaves on and the leaves can be used like spinach or any other green veg. But the main part of the veg is the round base that is green or purple looking with the leaves coming off of it all over the thing. When you cut it through it is hard like potato. If you grow your own they can be 8 inches across and you practically need a band saw to cut them - but the ones in the store are usually about 2 inches. You can eat it raw or cooked. Usually sold 2 or 3 in a bunch near the spinach or beets. > Nuts and chocolate. I can do that!!!! Yeah it's good :-) DARK chocolate - more antioxidant value.
