Guest guest
When I interviewed this doc , I spoke at legnth with his PA & one of my first questions was if he believed & diagnosised Fibro. Next day by mutual agreement WE decided it would be a good match... Dr & me. I researched MS ( mayo clinic , MSfoundation) and there are 4 types or stages... But it does sound similar to fibro in all but last two( progessive) stages. I can see why doc would think of MS. But I too still lean more towards Fibro. Friday, was busy as Fridays for me usually are... Ending with dinner in Tulsa with friends & Hubby shopping at Bass Pro. My blood sugar crashed hard in afternoon but other than that I managed Friday quite well. Then got up EARLY sat morning( dark-thirty) aftr only 1 hr sleep. Went turkey hunting with Hubby in lite rain. Felt fine and was fun! Ate lunch on way home... And then all hell broke loose! Immediate Naseau, diarrhea,( prolly lost 10 pounds!)and PAIN ! Of course by evening was dehydrated & had MOST horrible leg cramps ever! Skipped another social event( crawfish boil uggh! with Hubby's Boss)did I say that weekends wear me out?? That I spend Mon's resting?? Now it's noon Sunday and still PAIN. I think my back is gonna break, hips, and leg muscles feel like flu! But this is how I feel Often ! Tired! And fixin to bake bread for the upcoming week... ( Dearest Hubby is spoiled LoL) New Doc gave me a presc for( generic) Gabapentin 300 mg. For seizures- blocks brain receptors from recognizing and sending pain signals. To take at bedtime... It's scarey cause it's so strong and is a depressant. Will take first one tonite. So, yes, I still think Fibro... but if Doc believes in Fibro, knows about Hcv & fibro & thought of MS instead....I'm confused again. So hard to know what to think and when " proffesionals " are misleading or actually onto something ! Sorry about this Novel but I am jus' really confused...
