Hi ny,

So glad to hear you are doing better.

I took 2nd shot 9 hours ago and so far I feel ok, it's like I am sitting here waiting for the moment of bonding time with the big ceramic bowl again. Maybe the difference this time is one hour before I took 2 tylenol, drank a huge real fruit and veggie smoothie with a scoop of protein powder, ate crackers loaded with peanut butter and oh made sure my barf patch was in place. Couldn't sleep so I made good use of that time drinking, drinking and drinking some more.

2 down, 46 to go!

Jane

Hi Jane,I can so relate to what you are saying drinking is easy, but eating is not so much. It sucks as we want to eat, but just can't. I started the protein shakes yesterday, don't know why I never thought of them, but at least now when I can't eat I will get protein.11 pounds this week, that is a lot. I only lost 4. the doctor says she is concerned as I lost about 20 pounds since treatment in 2 months ago.for me the shakes somes with the chills and being cold, I think it is all due to the fever thing going on. Best of luck on shot #2, and I hope the sides are less. I would have said(most people do) that the first shot is the worst, but my worst was shot 7. Yeah each shot we give means one less!! yes it is all worth it!! I know the sides suck, I have have bad ones since starting and they never really let up, but at the end when we clear the virus it is so worth

it!!best of everything,ny
