Hi

Wellllllll....a kinda long story. Are you ready? LOL

In the late 1970's, I lived in western Oklahoma in a small town.

I was getting rich, because the oil fields were booming about then, and I had the only laundry mat and car wash for 100 miles.

Oil is dirty stuff.

On top of that I owned a gas station, and a used furnature rental business.

The town was Burns Flats, just east of Elk City off I-40.

I was an electrical contracter with my own business, and also I was part owner of Temputer Inc out of Des Moines, Iowa.

I would spend all week traveling the midwest putting in heat detection eqp in grain silos [so they dont explode], and came home on the weekends.

I had over 150 people working for me, and was making a high six figure income.

I had contracts with the oil companys, the local towns, private companys, and individuals.

I was on a roll. [Pretty good for a druggie rock musician hippy.]

Just before my birthday in May 1980, I came home to find out that my ex had rented this crap house in the country.

We could afford the best, but this house you could see daylight thru the walls.

Plus the rent was enormous for a barn.

She moved us after I said no to this house, and left town to work.

Anyways, in the middle of my first night there, the house leaked propane gas, ignited on the hot water heater pilot, and blew the house to hell.

I was standing in the bathroom, and got blown thru the wall into the yard, on fire.

I broke my back and neck, got burned badly, was blinded from the shrapnal, and deafened from the concussion.

I saw God. [He was HUGE.!!!!!!!!!!!] LMAO

Thankfully, me and her had gotten into a big old fight, and I had sent her to town, to a motel room with her 6 y/o daughter for the night.

So they were spared, but I wasnt. I died, but was revived. [Thank you God and Med Sci.]

I was planning on having some of my employees move all our stuff to a really nice house the following day that I was in the process of buying for us.

I spent the next 2 years learning to walk again, and shake the flashbacks out of my brain.

My ears and eyes healed pretty good, so did my burns, but I am still scarred.

My hair has all grown back as you can tell from my pictures in the group photo section.

Now I look like cousin IT, from the Family. LMAO

As a result, I dont walk or stand so good, and as I grow older, this gets worse.

I wear glasses, and have PTSD [post trama syndrome].

Lots of ear problems, and nerve damage from brain to toes.

I had to have a series of blood transfusions/infusions because I was cut up pretty bad.

This may have been when I got HCV, but 10 years earlier I did shoot drugs in my big band days.

Since 1980 I have been disabled, and lost all my wealth, and ability to earn a living.

That one night cost me everything, but my life. I was 29 years old.

I would gladly pay more even, because my life has been worth it.

This story will give everyone a hint as to why I support the AMA establishment so much.

And why I get so excited over new medical discoveries.

Granted the AMA is not perfect, and is money based, but thank God it is there.

I am also very supportive of alternative medicine, because a lot of it is very useful.

Both things have saved many a person, and I never forget to thank God.

I dont mind telling this story to anyone who is patient enough to listen.

Its all true, and a miracle to me personally.

I went from the top of the world, to death, and back again, in 24 hours.

Don's BIG BANG.

I discovered my mortality, humbleness, humor, and compassion, and will never forget it.

Its was the worst day of my life, but the best thing that could ever happen to me.

HCV dragon........kiss my butt. LOL

love

I know I am being really snoopy now but I can't help it. Don what happened? How did the house explosion happen? Cinder
