Guest guest
That all makes sense.... And , yes, when I have a breakout I ask myself what am I stressing about ? !! So do you take the Lysine every day?? Maybe your research will find if there is any fact to taking the shingles vaccine now to stop recurring flares.... an oncologist suggested that.... We don't want to change anything about your brain cells... Who would talk to the dead & answer The Voices??? As I posted before, doctors refer to shingles as HERPES ZOSTER. http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv8-tyc7 & p=herpes%20zoster & type= I used to see the blistering/visible lesions, but since taking L-Lysine, they have long ago stopped. Now I experiance only the 'burning skin', and that rarely when I forget the Lysine, but nothing is visable. Just the nerve endings seemly on fire. Mine is on the inside of my thighs. High STRESS can cause a flare up. I heard once that Herpes goes dormant, and hides in the nerve cells. This is why there is no cure yet. A med that would enter our nerve cells, would also enter our brain cells. Im crazy enough without that too. lol :-) love don in ks From: Trudy <trudykinseysbcglobal (DOT) net>Subject: [ ] Shingles etc"Hcv" < >Date: Monday, April 12, 2010, 5:24 PM Dear Don, I believe if you had shingles you would experience the Burning Skin but would have visible lesions. I have scars( small) from my first outbreak. A dr explained... The nerve endings " float" to the skin surface and blister the skin. In the areas where the original eruption was most concentrated I now have a numbness; lack of sensation at surface. When I am about to get a breakout I can feel it about 24 hrs before visible. The worst breakouts cause extreme sensitivity and pain with inflamation and heat in one or the other leg along the sciatic nerve. Those times even a sheet touching me is so painful... Clothing worse!! Am going to try the L-Lysine supplement as I seem to have constant breakouts the past couple of months. Again, just another layperson's opinion...Huggs & Humor, From Trudy from my iPhone ------------------------------------MEMBERS WITH WEBSITES ABOUT HEP C:'s website: http://www.healthyhepper.comPam's website: http://www.HEALSoftheSouth.org and http://www.HEALSoftheSouth.comScarlet's website: http://www.youngliving.org/scarletADD Your Website, Support Group, Newsletter or HEP C LINKS to the Healthy Hepper Hepatitis Database-Directory: http://www.healthyhepper.com/db/dbsearch.htm
