Guest guest
Hi Teri We have all talked bunches about the stigma of HCV. The stigma imposed on us from others, the fears, and the stigma we impose on ourselves. Many many people think - 'Hepatitis !!!!! Its going to jump out and get me'. HAV or HBV might, but not HCV. Forgive people their fear. It stems from not knowing the facts. They are just trying to be safe. If they knew, possibly they wouldnt be like that. Granted, many people dont want to know the facts. They just run. I wish we could run away, and be safe. No such luck. love don in ks From: Teri Gottlieb <theresagottlieb@...>Subject: Re: [ ] Hows everyone doing? Date: Monday, May 10, 2010, 10:18 PM Thanks Don... they won't derail us though. He could care less about the lack of an invite. This has been brewing for awhile now and he takes my side over his family every time. Just bothers me that even though I'm clear she's still like that. Pain pills are helping the rest. Years ago I married a Jewish lady, from a 'reformed' Jewish family, and I was the gentile of German decent. That went over big. Never got invited to anything except 'Grandma's' house. She would greet me nicely, feed me goodies, and proceed to tell me how awful Germans were. oy They managed to derail the marriage in just under 5 years. That was before HCV was invented. Dont let it get to you. Love your man, and forgive everyone else. All will be well. love don in ks
