Guest guest
Hi Trudy I used to enjoy getting shitfaced in my younger days. I wasnt a social drinker, but more a smash drinker. Whiskey. I was never an alcoholic, I just enjoyed the drunk feeling. I was a happy drunk, never mean. I would guzzle my whiskey and get drunk fast, laugh for a bit, and dance, and pass out. I never got sick either except once, and never had a hangover. When I quit drinking 30 years ago, I found that I didnt care for the alcohol taste in anything. Furthermore, I found that I didnt have fun around drinkers when I wasnt drunk. It ended up that I had to weed myself away from my drinking friends, and find new ones. Now drunk folks bother me, and I dont enjoy their company. I found that drinkers are not to be trusted, and have seen too many lives destroyed for drink. Now with the HCV, I would never drink alcohol for any reason. This just me, and my thoughts. love don in ks From: Trudy <trudykinsey@...>Subject: [ ] Randy, opinions & his story"Hcv" < >Date: Friday, April 16, 2010, 7:20 AM I second that your opinion did not offend. When someone feels passionately about something there is a reason. And that is how we learn from each other. We can make our own decisions but at least then they will be Educated Decisions. Personally, the timing of this discussion is spooky . Perhaps Don's Voices set this up...lol. I have never had a drinking problem, just like to have a couple mixed drinks out with friends and only a couple times a year. Have often gone 2-3 years without even that. But I have been " planning" an evening including 2 drinks with dinner with friends we socialize with each Friday. So far, I have chickened out each week. Want the occasion to be " worth it". But had decided tonight's the night since going to a new special restaurant that has awesome Bloody . Anybody ever had a virgin B ?? Sounds like a spiced up V-8!! And how do you ask for a virgin drink inconspicuously when in a group that either drinks or orders cola?? Just my ( probably trivial) devil on my shoulder...so I quess I do have a drinking problem if you look at it that way.... P. S. I am not on tx yet- not for a few more months....From Trudy from my iPhone ------------------------------------
