Guest guest
I quess I'm all alone on the chit-chat issue. I do make sure I don't forward the attachments, however, I don't yet feel like I know the others on here well enough to be emailing. Quess cause I'm a bit shy, even online . But I won't ever get to know y'all without these little slices of insight into your worlds and lives. And often the chit- chat is humorous tidbits that I otherwise wouldn't get to chuckle over. If all we did on here was the facts and research about our disease, it would get depressing and then I would dread reading the posts... I've seen several say they had dropped out of other groups and stayed out of groups cause the constant dwelling on the disease was making them worse( or feel worse). Our chit-chat allows us to stay connected, without bringing us down. And, no not everything needs to be on forum( ie: the friend's pet with siezures, etc.) But venting to the " group " for a variety of inputs is theraputic... Hope I haven't offended anyone.. No offense or insult intended by any means... Just my penny's worth( recession!) Hugs to All. Trudy From Trudy from my iPhone
Guest guest
TrudyYou said the words that I simply forgot. To you and any others that are still too shy to come online - I know exactly how you feel. Please, we are all floating out here in an ocean of the unknown and need each other to lean on!!Anyone on here - I am ready, willing and able to help with any questions or shyness. I know full well what it felt like, feeling so very alone with this horrible diagnosis plus what it has felt like for the more than 6 years that I've been fighting. My habit when dealing with my e-mails almost daily now again, is that I begin by moving the "HepCWarriors" posts to a file, then I move another groups posts to their file. As I am doing that, I will run across private posts which I always keep at the top of my list to answer!! So again please post me privately with any concerns etc. if it is easier at first!!!!GloriaFrom: Trudy <trudykinsey@...>Hcv < >Sent: Fri, April 30, 2010 12:28:21 PMSubject: [ ] Alone/ forum / chit-chat I quess I'm all alone on the chit-chat issue.
