Guest guest
Hi SuziQ Yes, thank you, I do know about the opiate thing with LDN. Docs use HDN [high dose] for addicts. The pain-doc has me on Lyrica 75mg x3 and Oxycontin PRN 10mg x1 [time release] - right now for the Fibromyalgia. We have talked about the benefits of LDN for the Fibro, rather than pain meds, because I am concerned about liver damage. He suggested the Oxy/Lyrica approach for right now. I do have to say - I do really really like the Oxy's. LOL :-) Im a member of all the LDN groups, so I read bunches there, and am doing my own research too, in addition to what my pain-doc knows. I am also waiting on more clinical studies in regaurds to HCV-LDN approach. The results should be very interesting. I am trying to be as careful as I can be when it comes to meds, sups, diet, etc. My goal is to preserve my liver for as long as possible, because with my heart, I may never be allowed to do the I/R HCV TX. I wish there was a magic button for all of us. Push it and live healthy and happy forever. LOL :-).......[dream on don] love don in ks From: SuziQ <ancientkron@...>Subject: [ ] Re: don's protocal 2010 - Jane Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2010, 9:44 PM Hi Don;Just a note about LDN. You cannot take it with opiate pain meds. The pain meds won't work. I'll post some links about Dr Berkson--his education--a couple of interviews--the LDN meeting in 2009--Sounds like you are on the right track with your supps--just need to take regularly.SuziQ > > > love> don in ks> >> > I have been thinking about starting -> LDN - low dose naltrexone - still learning about this> digestive enzymes - this is in the works> .> > >------------------------------------
