I am blasting you with love, healing, and lotsa good energy. love don in ks From: sparkles43d <sparkles43d@...>Subject: [ ] Home and recouperating Date: Thursday, July 1, 2010, 9:30 PM Hello all my peeps. I'm not up for long,I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm home and taking it easy. I hurt like the dickens but I'm handling it...thanks to the Norco. They gave me a picture they took with the scope of what I'm figuring is my gallbladder(obviously) and part of the liver. Quite interesting and I'm thinking I want my gastro to see this picture as it makes me wonder just how bad my liver might or might not be. I will try to copy it into my computoer and post it here if any of you would care to see it. If you do let me know and when I'm feeling better and it doesn't hurt to sit in my desk chair I'll work on it. Guest guest
Debbie,Glad to hear you are doing okay... I've been worried and even more so since I haven't had much of a chance to check e-mails and facebook. I see you have found my little friend Norco. Love that stuff. Just stay in bed and don't try to do anything. You need a chance to heal. It's gonna be a few weeks so hang in there! Guest guest
Jane, I had my gallbladder removed. They took a picture of my gallbladder along with a partial view of my liver that's above the gallbladder, when they went in with the scope. My liver is all bumpy and has some spots on it. I'm going to make sure my gastro sees this picture. I was able to shower today and boy did that feel good. I'm feeling stronger every day and still taking it easy. Can't lift anything over 5 lbs. for 4 wks. Thanks for the well wishes. Debbie > > Debbie, glad your home and doing well except the pain. Take care and don't over do things. Guest guest
Thanks Teri. I have been doing nothing but sleeping and working on the baby blanket for my new grandson when he arrives. The other grandma and myself have been planning a shower for her on Aug 1st. so hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to go shopping for the decorations and the rest of the stuff we'll need for it in the next couple of weeks. How's the unpacking going? Don't overdo it. I love your new place. Debbie > > Debbie, > Glad to hear you are doing okay... Guest guest
Deb,Don't tell anybody but I went Christmas shopping the day after my hysterectomy! Nobody told me to stay in bed! Boy did I get yelled at when the doc saw me for my one week visit! Then my kid had me laughung so hard that I split all the stiches in my belly button! Then he had the nerve to tell me to behave or he was gonna make me get back in bed and HE STARTED IT! You'll be fine to shop in a few weeks! Guest guest
Gloria,I have learned something over the past few months that was hard to realize for me. You have to let it go. You have to let those horrible feelings that you have towards the soon to be ex go. It just stresses you out more and keeps you from feeling good inside. I've gone thru my share of resentment lately. First it was my ex-husband who called me a few months ago, it started out calmly enough, he wanted my address to send some old pictures to me. Then it turned into a tirade of what a great father he was to our son. The problem was, everything he was saying was a lie. He has this idea of things that he did that never happened. It took me days and a long talk with my son to let that one go. Then there are the wonderful (sarcasm) church people that own the house I just moved out of. They made our life hell for the past 6 weeks, up to and including yesterday when we got the final carload of our stuff out of their garage. I was so angry. At one point the hubs had to walk away from him because he thought it was an instant ticket to hell to punch a church deacon in the jaw. Right now they owe us about 4 thousand dollars. I'm going to lay it all out on paper and get an attorney if I need to. I am already threatening with local news coverage. But once we crossed the bridge over the lake for the last time yesterday I put that all behind me. The feelings anyway. The money I will get but I'm not going to let them get to me anymore. It's just not healthy. I hope you can see where I'm coming from on this one. Let it go.... don't let it eat you up anymore. You are taking steps to remove him and his horrible family from your life. Time for you. I think you deserve some peaceful, happy times.Great big pink hugs from Gurnee<Teri From: Gloria <gadamscan@...> Sent: Mon, July 5, 2010 11:59:34 PMSubject: Re: [ ] Re: Home and recouperating DebbieI'm so glad it went so well. Guest guest
Thanks for your wise words Teri!! I believe that I still need to keep a watchful eye on stuffing my feelings as well.. I had that problem for many years and when too much got bubbling in the pressure cooker and the lid blew - everyone needed to run. For many years now, I try very hard to get things off my chest as fast as possible. Even to the point that I can remember questions that husband on which wife he thought he was dealing with. Then, I reminded him that I am not the one that only hints at things that are wrong - I'm the one that will tell you straight to your face. Of course, I had already done some thinking about whatever that was and made a decision on whether it was important or not.At this point of the breakup, sure, I'm still occasionally allowing those feelings of anger and resentment seep in, because I feel so strongly that he betrayed me; but, I can also see that it does no good talking to him about it. So, I feel that in order for me to help myself get through it all without going off on him too often - is to ensure that he is not at the house when I have something to do there. I managed not to have any need to speak to him for 6 days and then today he was supposed to be gone until 2:00PM; but, of course came home early. I actually managed to continue with my work and ignore him for the most part, so he cleaned up and left anyway. That way, I pushed through and got the whole room down to the level I wanted for today. At another time, I will have to go back and thoroughly work on my office!! I have an awful lot of boxes from past years to get together and get the clients to come and pick them up. In the meantime, we are looking for a bag of papers that appear to have disappeared and because I can't believe that - I'm still searching for them in some place they shouldn't be at all.Gloria Gloria,I have learned something over the past few months that was hard to realize for me.
