Hi DebZ

Im so glad you joined the group.

I think you will like it here.

Bunches of good folks, info, and support.

Im sure you have alot to share with us too.

No question is a silly question because all info is valuable to someone, and this is how we learn.

We do not judge each others protocal.

I smoked MJ for my whole life, [59]. but KS law isnt CALF law, so I quit 2 years ago when I was diagnosed with HCV.

This was to slow polluting my liver only. I am fighting tobacco too.

I am a staff member of NORML, and DRUGWARS, and post regularly in GreenPassion, to support legalization and decriminalization efforts.

I also have my own sites for this purpose.

My son owns the Montana Caregivers Network.

MMJ does slow the benefits of HCV TX, but otherwise I havent found much adverse about it healthwise, other than munchies and laughter. lol

I keep on top of all the latest research, and political info.

Thanks again for joining us.

We all look forward to your input, even if its only to scream. LMAO

Its all good.

love

Hi friends in fellowship,A friend whom I do not hear from very much sent me an email telling me about this group, how good it is; and he suggested I join. So here I am. A hepatitis babe with a small liver belly but pains all over. I was diagnosed in 1995. Tried Interferon but was allergic to it. More like I couldn't fathom it. Flu-like symptoms everyday, and here's the real kicker: suicidal thoughts and ideations. Once the doctors heard that, they took me off.So I just take good care of myself. I do not eat fried foods or drink alcohol. That's a killer--the alcohol. Only vice is a happy vice and that is Medical Marijuana (I live in California). (Oh Deb, you know you have more.)My hepatologist tells me I'll live forever and that my liver enzymes are so low. Great news to hear. And here I think I'm dying a slow agonizing

death. Me and Woody : Love, sex, and death Both from NYC. I moved to CA.Thanks for reading. My email is DebraZ949@... if anyone needs to talk person to person. I do care, and I'm a loving hippie. I look forward to reading your posts.Love,Deb Z.------------------------------------

Thank you for that information DebZ, Gloria, Don...everyone else for that matter. It is against the law here in North Carolina with possession of marijuana and I did quit smoking it in 1996 but I did start again in 2007 (I quit drinking alcohol in 2006) and didn't want to lose 30 lbs like I did my first time around taking TX..that was pretty bad weight lose. I did only lose 8lbs my second time of smoking Jane while taking TX.SheilaFrom: Christ <ludichrist2000@...> Sent: Sat, March 27, 2010 4:36:14 PMSubject: Re: [ ] Newbie - DebZ

I was soooo happy to lose my 30 lbs this last treatment. I'm also sooo glad that it has not gone back on either. I'm ever ever so hopeful that I lose at least another 10 lbs to this surgery and who knows, I might actually begin to think I'm just a fat old lady instead of the Goodyear Blimp!! I just saw some absolutely schocking pictures of myself from about 2 years ago! YUCKNow, I'm going to have to have 2nd thoughts about Medical MJ if it's likely to give me the munchies!! I already have enought problem with that and sure don't need any help.Gloria
