Guest guest
Margaret,Congrats on completion! One thing I did notice was it took awhile for insomnia, swiss cheese and irritability, stuff like that, to fade. My nurses told me it could be six months or more before I felt anywhere close to 100% again, mentally or physically.I mention that 'cause you did your last shot just nine weeks ago! I agree w/Don, don't face it on your own, if you have a good GP or head doc there to discuss it with, do it. But keep in mind, your body's still trying to flush the stuff out that you've put in it to slay the dragon. I always felt like it was one helluva tradeoff, pollute my body to get rid of pollution in my body...Hmmmmm. On the upside, about nine months after I finished treatment I could honestly say I felt like I was mentally and physically back to normal, minus the dragon. We're all here if you need to vent.SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. Jimmy Buffett From: lovemargaret87 <lovemargaret87@...>Subject: [ ] terrible feeling coming back Date: Thursday, April 22, 2010, 8:53 PM I did my last shot on Valentines day of this year. I had some pretty terrible thoughts during my treatment and didnt think that I could stand to complete my treatment. Well, I did. Now, I have days that I experience the SAME thoughts. I'm just concerned about this, cause they werent pretty thoughts. Do you think they will go away, or will I always continue to have these "flashbacks"?Thanks,Margaret,___
