Guest guest
Hi Marie I agree with everything Teri told you. Your experiance with treatment will be simular, but unlike anyone else. We air our experiances with treatment here so that others can know of the possibilitys, and maybe even a solution or two. Its good to have this knowledge....just in case....but it doesnt mean that this will be you. I too am waiting for treatment. I am scared, but want to get the show on the road. I am being held back by my heart-doc, the Interferon my be real bad for my heart. I have CHF [congestive heart failure]. We have been discussing a lower dose, in house treatment [hospital], and a shorter treatment time with the Protease Inhibitors, etc. My labs are staying pretty close to normal, so there is the possibility of me waiting for a few years for the pure anti-virals, without the Interferon. So take this time to relax, and clean up your diet/lifestyle. In reality, you have already started treatment, its just home based for now. Keep plugging away at getting the meds, but also stay positive. You will be ok. love don in ks
