Hi

I read this post, and I am concerned about your wellbeing.

I know you were addressing Gloria, but do you mind some of don's thoughts too? :-)

I am very sorry that your having such a hard time with the HCV TX sides, while trying to work a job too.

That is rough.

- BUT -

You say that you were neg at week 6.

This means that the TX is working.

Please dont stop treatment when your doing so good, unless the doctor says to.

Get this virus out of your body, and your life, if you can.

I dont know your living situation, but my thoughts are that ridding yourself of the virus, and regaining your health, might be more important than work right now. [maybe]

Again, I dont know your needs or prioritys.

- Is there a chance that you could work less hours per week [part time], find an easier position to fill, or maybe take some medical leave time off with pay?

- Are you eating good and enough food each day?

Not enough nutrition will exhaust a normal person, and being on treatment is even harder on one.

One of the sides of not enough nutrition is fatigue.

- Are you drinking lots of water?

The TX will deplete your body fast, and dehydrate you.

One of the sides of dehydration is fatigue.

Both these things are VERY important to do while on HCV TX, if you can.

Treatment is very hard when your fighting both the meds and your bodys needs.

Are you sleeping?

If not, tell your doctor.

He can help you with this.

He can also help you with depression, anxiety, etc.

I hope that you wont mind my thoughts.

Im just trying to encourage and support you.

I hope that you can finish TX, and be free of this demon.

I am blasting you with love, healing, and lotsa good energy.

Be well my friend.

love

GloriaI just recovered from the last shot - sort of. I am so fatigued I can hardly work or hold my head up. I have to make a decision about continuing tx. I was neg at week 6 but I have to work. I am too tired and confused at times to work effectively. One would think "they" could come up with a tx that is not so brutal and archaic.Gloria did you do a protease research tx?
