Freezing soups is safe and lasts several months. Everyone says no to plastic in

the freezer something about chemical interactions.

but does anyone have any advice about freezing homemade soups?? I eat a lot of

soup( 2.x day) and know I should give up the canned. But whenever I make a pot

of soup it lasts longer than I want; need the variety of beef barley & chicken

noodle.thought freezing portions would be the answer...in what ?? Anyone have

experience here?
