That is SUCH great news. Makes going thru the rest of the treatment that much easier doesn't it! You know it's working. I'm so glad you didn't quit. I know how aggravating and painful the sides are from this tx but you can finish it easier now that you know it's working! makes it worth it! Keep us posted and we are here whenever you need us. So I went into the doc today for my 12 weeks tx blood work! ( im now on week 17 )And its gone! He told me you made it to the playoffs, let see if you win the game. So, other that that i feel crappy, my body achs and i cant remember shit i dont have hep right now! Thank you everyone that talked me down when i was going to quit, it was you guys thats why I kept taking this, and now i am taking it for me. Hope it works all the way!

i dont really undrestand the lab work. The doc said it was gone from my body and

i have 2 papers from today both say hcv rna quan but on has a <43 and the other

has a 1.63 log. what does that mean?

The doc is right. The HCV RNA Quan test is showing that you are under the average marker of 43. They can't count that low. At 43 or less your body's own immune system can fight the HCV off. What it means basically is that there is either nothing there or too few to even count. So that is a big happy piece of information. The log count's I don't understand. When I went thru tx they weren't using that as a measure. Amazing how much this has all changed in 5 years. What you have in lab work is reason to feel fantastic. Yep, the meds are working and currently you are virus free. Now to keep you that way! You have to finish the tx to make sure you can attain SVR or Sustained Viral Response. Just

knowing that it is working should make you feel amazing and make the rest of your tx a little easier to take. If I remember correctly you're on a 24 week program correct? This should mean you are almost done. You are doing GREAT!
