Ok all or most of you know that my daughter is due to have her baby.

Due Aug 28th. Well Thursday she thought her water had broke and was having a few

contractions so she went to her hospital. That hospital I guess is not equiped

to deal with premies until 35 or 36 weeks. So they ambulanced her about 80 miles

south to Everett. So Colleen and I headed down there. She was having pretty

strong contractions. Well we stayed all night with her and the daddy and around

5 am decided to go on home since her contraction had subsided and she wasn't

progressing past 4 cm. Well I had parked my car in a parking garage that was

really far away and earlier in the evening went and moved it closer, but not

until at first when we had to walk down a flight of stairs to get to where she

was, then when I went to move the car ,I had to walk back up those stairs.

When we decided to leave to go home the elevator that takes you to the main

entrance and parking area where I had moved my car to was out of order and we

had to walk around and walk up the ambulance ramp.

Well with all that stair climbing being up all night and walking up the ramp,

then having to drive home in fog no less you can probably guess the stress level

I was at. I got home at 6 am went to bed and was dead to the world till 3 pm.

Hubby brought home dinner and after we ate; I was out again till 9 or so. Got up

for a few minutes maybe 30 min total. lol You guessed it out like a light. till

this morning at 10 am.

I was in so much pain...my hips and thighs hurt so bad and my back.

So what did I find out you ask? I found out my body can't take all nighters and

stress like that anymore. Two years ago I could have dealt with it better. Later

that morning they told my daughter she was just having strong braxton hicks

contractions and sent her home with instructions to take it easy and let Nick

her fiancee do everything she is to stay down with feet up as much as possible.

Luv you all my friends

Debbie
