When I went through treatment they cautioned me that my appetite may go to hell, which mine did.But they warned me that the drugs may mess with the thyroid, depressing it or amping it...so I may lose or gain weight. Fortunately I lost weight, unfortunately it all found me again and brought some friends!Anyway, don't know if the thyroid changing will mess with your appetite, but it may be something to ask about at your next appointment. You're the first I've heard of who's appetite increased, everyone I've talked to was either nauseated or unaffected appetite-wise.Glad to hear it's getting along, though. My experience, the first few were bad, then the body adjusted and it kinda leveled off, but towards the end got pretty tough again as the drug load continued to build up in my body.Like we've said before, one day at a time, one hour at a time if you gotta...You've always got lotsa support and love here.SteveLife is much more fun when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party. Jimmy Buffett [ ] 3ed shot so I did it again, and really not so bad. I got some cramping on my legs for about an hour but jst went away. All and all I am doing ok 75% of the day, my main problem is the panic attacks, that I have always had just seem to be a little worse. I am also having no problem eating, i am starving all the time and eating like a pig. Not everythng stays down but I am learing what to eat. The best so far is mashed potatoes.
