Guest guest Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 I am just really grateful she is doing okay. I was so so scared for her. I know she was a lot more scared than she was putting on. She is a strong brave woman but like anyone else you had to know she was scared. I love her as a sis and am so glad to know she is on the mend and can hardly wait to have her back on board with our group. Love you very much Gloria. I printed them and took them up to her this afternoon, She was very surprized and happy to get them! The precedure was abit more then she expected, but the doctors say everything has gone real well. Today they had got her up for a wee walk, and she was sitting up in her chair when I got there for a short time, it was really nice to see her sitting up. She was supposed to go in for a one day surgury, and be home the same day. It was supposed to be an easy procedure. Somehow she ended up in the hospital for all this time. Now that worries me a great deal, and means they had to open her up to do the surgury. My God. That freaks me out. Poor Gloria has gone through so much from HCV. First she did treatment for a year, and was a non-responder. Then she did the 3D treatment clinical trial for another year. Both times I know she suffered, although she rarely let on. Just when she was pronounced to be SVR [cleared of the HCV], she got told she had cancer tumors on her liver, and needed this operation. Already having bad Cirrhosis of the liver wasnt enough. For those who dont know Gloria, she is one of our Great members, always willing to post love, info, and support to each and every one of us. We are all her sisters and brothers. For me, Gloria is a great friend, and I love her dearly. She has taught me alot, and showed me so much compassion and support. I have been praying to God, that she pulls through this, and that her HCV experiance ends soon. I have been blasting her with love and healing energy every day. Im so relieved that the news about her is GOOD news, but she still has much healing to do yet. I cant wait for her to come back to the group, so I can read her posts, and talk with her again. I have no doubt she will tell us very interesting things. Please everyone, stop for one minute and send her love and good healing energy. I believe it will find her, and help her. I am glad there is someone who can visit her in the hospital. I just joined here, and am a little lost. I can't even find my first and only post, other than this one. ?? Haven't been in a group for a very long time, and my computer has been behaving badly. Now it's a plug for the moniter? What next. Well, a laptop is coming Monday, not that I can afford it. I may just change my mind on it, don't even know how they work, or get internet to it. I don't know. Going to look for my first post, and answer anyone who may have responded.
