ny,DO NOT TRY IT. You think you're sick now? You don't even want to go there. And maybe. That was the essence of the way my doc practiced treating Hep C. He calculated how much it would take to kill you then backed you off from there. Kinda kept you on the brink of death for 48 weeks. This is one of those "Don't try this at home" warnings. I was closely monitored. Daily. Even on weekends. The dosages of Ribavirin and Peg-Interfuron can be lethal if taken at too high of a dosage. Don't take any extra pills please.Hugs,TeriFrom: Barrett <barrjohnm@...> Sent: Tue, August 3, 2010 1:40:06 AMSubject: [ ] extra meds works faster?

can I ask if I could take double the doses that I am now would the hep c disappear twice as fast?thanks,ny

Hi Teri, yeah I am not trying this, was just curious. I think more meds would make you feel sicker. I would try that at home, especially if you are not monitored, sounds like you had a great team that really looked after you`-`not to worry, I am not taking any extra, I wish I could take less, but have it do the same thing.thanks,ny From: Teri Gottlieb

Hey Guys,

Scotland and England are on an island just off the coast of Europe. Scotland

occupies the northern part of the island and England occupies the southern

part. The English Channel separates the island from Europe. There is even a

railroad built under the English Channel connecting England to France. Ireland

is another island west of England and Scotland. They are countries--not

continents.

SuziQYou forgot to mention Wales!! Now I could get hurt feelings - forgetting Wales. I am more closely of Welsh descent because my father was born there and lived there for a very small amount of time. Actually, he came to Canada as a baby and for whatever reason, the family moved back to Wales and then returned to Canada for good.Gloria

Thank you Suzi for clearing that up for me! I get so confused with the whole England, Scotland and Ireland thing. Now if my fogged up brain will just let me remember that! Thanks Gloria!!

I got a phone call and didn't know how to save message so I just posted it. Ahh

yes The fabulous Welshmen--like Burton. That is on the western side of

the island. Had I known you were of Welsh descent I would not have forgotten.

My grandfather was of ish descent so I was told all about Scotland as a

child--back before TV or other things--when young people sat and talked with

their grandparents. Gosh, I'm sooo old!!! That was way back in the 1930's and

early 40's. I was already in college before we had a TV. My college sweetheart

just turned 83. Just goes to show Hep C can be slow moving. I take NO pain

meds except an occasional Aleve. And since I was diagnosed with diabetes and

have been on metformin about 6 weeks, I feel great. Don posted an article on

Hep C and metformin and I am really curious to see what it does for my Hep C.

Joined AA and NA back in 1966 when it was so much fun. No one was sentenced to

go--so everyone was there because they wanted to be there. I often feel very

out of sync with the forum --probably because I am. No one my age ever posts.

Anyway, sorry about Wales--promise I won't forget again. Hope your feelings are

not tooo hurt!!!

Cheers, SuziQ

SuziQ,You are a wealth of information and I don't want you to feel out of sync with this forum. You have so much insight to share with us. I wish you would share more! And thank you for the geography lesson... I am so bad at geography. I made my husband explain the whole UK thing to me a few months back because I was confused, and with this brain fog, I still forget!
