Hey Don. I hear you saying that you realize that viral loads don't mean anything but you don't seem to be believing it. Really, it doesn't mean anything. The only important one is the one that says undetectable. Viral loads go up and down all the time and if you had your blood drawn again today it could be 2 times lower or 2 times higher. Not the least bit indicative of liver damage being done. I get "aggrevated" with those doing homeopathic treatment that say "Look my viral load went down so they must be working!" It isn't the milk thistle, etc working - it is simply that the viral load fluctuates all the time. No one has ever gone undetectable on homeopathic treatment. I have friends with 123 million with very little liver damage and friends with 200,000 that have cirrhosis. Anyway, just wanted to toss that out there. It is only important before treatment to know you are chronic, during treatment to know if you are clearing, and after treatment to know that it is DEAD. Other than that, the viral load is virtually meaningless and fluctuation happens every minute of every day.

I saw several of you posting about Herpes. I don't have it but I have been posting Hep C information on a Herpes site (STD site really) for about 4-5 years now. You can check it out at:

The lady who runs it, , is wonderful and has a lot of good information there.

Peace
