Hi Gloria

Yeah Im relieved that my AST/ALT scores are still low.

All the rest of my stats too.

Hey, good 4 you on quitting smoking.

That is the best thing you can do to improve your health.

Whatever treatments you have to go through from now on will work much better for you, without your immune system having to fight off tobacco too.

The first 2 weeks will be the hardest, I have been told, until the nicotine is out of your body.

Dont never go back.

Now your going to be amazed how good your food tastes, and how sweet flowers and oxygen smell.

I am trying so hard to wrap my mind around quitting.

I have to, I know it.

Its the doing it, that is the problem.

DonI wish that I'd ever had those ALT's and AST's !!! Do you know that after treatment with the trio that my ALT was at 26 and my AST was at 31...Personally, I don't think there is another thing that you have to do, diet wise etc. Keep up the good work!!By the way - I've been a non-smoker now for 5 whole days!!! That's a record for me, I can tell you. We both used a recommended Chinese treatment, which is a bunch of herbs etc. liquefied and in a little brown bottle. All we were supposed to do, was sniff this bottle for about 10 mins 3 or 4 times the first couple of days. They say if you do that, then by the 3rd day your desire will be gone. Well, whose got 10 mins to sit around sniffing a little brown bottle. I did it for just about 7 mins the first day and then after that, it would only be for a moment or two and now hardly

at all. However, I have to keep my little brown bottle with me at all times, to help get me past those times when it was so common to sit back and have a smoke. Don't need to use it much; but, just touching it is enough....My son came home tonight for a visit for a few days. It actually took him a couple of hours to actually mention that he had noticed.. Because I had never told him what we were up too, he had to wait that long to see if what he'd noticed could finally be true. LOL He quit about 2 or 3 yrs ago.Now I'm getting excited to get some help at cleaning out my bedroom and finally get it painted like I was planning in the fall. However, you can imagine how gooped up our home would be with two heavy smokers. So, then I want to go on and have the hall and livingroom painted as well. In fact, if I had my way - everything would be painted really quick to help get the smell of

smoking out of our house.

One sniff of that now and I have no desire for a smoke or for food etc.Hubby went out and bought a huge bag of hard/soft candy!! I'm letting him suck on those LOLGloria

KathyThis time for me, I set my brain on - there is no choice now!!! I'm surprised my hubby is staying quit too; but, so far so good. Besides the extra money in the bank account is stunning!!It would be REALLY curious if the researchers could honestly link smoking with things like the viral load. Bet that would give an awful lot of us the final straw about quitting!!! But, I want facts and figures - not all the health nuts talk... As if smokers don't know very well that it's just plain not healthy. Yet, we all know that it just isn't as easy as all that to quit such a horrible addiction.Honestly, if it wasn't for this little brown bottle of a chinese combination, by my side, I doubt that I would be here six days

later.Gloria
