Guest guest
Hi everyone I am exploring the TRIGGER concept of the HCV infection, not the source. The source of our HCV infection could have been IV drug use, tattoos, transfusions, etc. Few of us really know for sure. What I am looking for is the TRIGGER, that made our HCV kick in, causing us to be diagnosed. For example, in 2005, I had West Nile Virus, and was extremely sick. The doctors treating me at the hospital did not detect my HCV, although they did multiple tests to find the cause of my illness. I presume my HCV was below detection levels. The WNV weakened my body, and the after effects persisted, [headaches, nausea, etc]. Then for three years my HCV infection was kicking in, and finally I was diagnosed. In the 5 years leading up to your HCV diagnosis, was there any major health issue that you can share with me? As we all know, the HCV can be in our bodies for decades with no real health issues, so remains undetected. One day we get sicker, go to the doctor, and are diagnosed. What do you suppose made you sicker, and made your HCV flare up? Just courious. love don in ks
