Have they emailed you or given you a synopsis of the trial?I am not an expert, but when my liver Dr. submitted my name as a possible canidate, they sent me a a fairly details outline of the trial. Maybe Don and Gloria can share more, That is all I knowFrom our home to your home, we speak a Blessings, and Success 2010.Walter L. Scheu, Sr. Th.DFrom:

I'm currently just finished a trial!! No, it is not massive dosages, although it's very dependent on the person themselves. Some can do it fairly easily and probably only suffer from the fatigue. Then there's others that simply can not tolerate the treatment at all.I was a Non-Responder the first time around, on the common treatment. Unfortunately, at that time, the only thing to do was hope for something new. Even thought that the Hep C nurses had totally dropped me!! I do vaguely remember the one that asked me if I'd consider a Trial. Well, I said - who knows until it's offered. When I got the call last January, I was actually only given about 4 hours to decide!!When ever I get the results of the blood work I have to do

tomorrow - I'll probably want to kiss that nurse for remembering me, even if I only had 4 hours to consider giving up another year to treatment.Gloria

I can only say, that for myself - it all happened so fast that even e-mailing that great whack of papers would not have made any sense to me. I had to go over everything with the clinician and as far as I was concerned, most of it was boring. One thing I remember so well - there was a part that I had to pay particular attention too. It was asking if I had any objections to the trial company having my DNA?? I thought that was funny!! Here I am with a failing liver, grateful to be chosen for the trial and now I'm going to be upset with them having my DNA?? He ll, anybody could get that from all the blood they've taken out of me for tests. Besides, who in the devil would want my DNA? I'm sure that nobody is ever going to clone me!! I never was

classified as physically beautiful and now my DNA would be kinda warped from things I've done to my body.Gloria
