==>It is usually a very small amount, used as a preservative.

Sometimes it's impossible to avoid such things. I wouldn't worry about

it.

Hi Donna:

here's a link for Candida diet no-nos. Check it over because olives are not

allowed (look

under pickled foods)

+++Hi Donna. Yes, they should be okay. Citric acid is a preservative,

but the amount is usually so small I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Of course don't eat a whole jar at once. LOL!

Hay that kinda bothered me too. I have read not to use citris fruit.

I've also read that its best to have your ph alkaline instead of acid

but on the other hand a lot recomend lemon water. Isn't lemon citric

acid? I like sweet orange joice and grapefruit juice.

I just had a urine test within the last week and I had been eating very large mandarine oranges for a couple of weeks prior. No one at my clinic has come back and warned me about my pH level - it was at 6 and I don't know what that means. I have heard that Grapefruits are very bad for us; but, I'm not a fan anyway, so never thought about the why of that.Gloria

Well, there you go about researching your own truths vs ???? Think I'll just keep eating those oranges!!! LOL Hubby just left to go pick up fruit for me. I didn't ask, he just decided that I needed my fruit - we've been out all day. Isn't that so nice of him? Gloria
