Hi everyone

I dont know about the 'commune' idea being off topic or not.

I threw it out there, along with the 'combining all HCV sites' idea, because there have been many posts by heppers concerning their economic and political status.

I thought perhaps both ideas might be good ones to discuss.

They both deal with issues some/all heppers face, along with the topics of origin and compensation.

- A commune for heppers may have positive benefits to some, not all, I agree. I, personally wouldnt know how to make it work, but I see no reason to throw out the idea.

- Combining all HCV sites would be another way to get more clout, info, awareness, as well as writing to your congressman.

- Origin is important in that many times HCV is preventable if one knows of the possibilitys of infection beforehand. Its already paid off in the use of IV's, air guns, tattoos, colon tests, and many more possible sources of infection. It cant help those of us already infected, but it can be a preventative for others in the future.

- Compensation is worthwhile if you can possibly prove that a source has infected you, and your entitled to recieve aid.

Maybe these ideas fall into the 'grey' areas of HCV, along with posting sales/source links to herbs/sups, inviting the virus to leave, prayer, news articles posted by the group owner, etc.

One thing I like about this group is that for the most part we are all free to voice our thoughts, and opinions, as well as ideas on TX, and experiances.

We are all different, with diff expectations and opinions, approaches, and the things that affect us.

If you read the homepage discription, if it has to do with HCV-HBV-HIV, you will find that it is 'on topic', as there are many many aspects of this disease.

I would like to hear everyones opinions, but do wish we could all be a little more respectful in our voicing of it.

We have no reason to do battle with each other.

Our battle is with this disease, and how it is effecting us.

If everyone catches my drift.

....replies inserted below after the ...________________________________ I buy bulk organic teas from the health food store sent from"Frontier": Dandelion, Hyssop, green, peppermint, licoice, & milk thistle seed. Usually blend 3 together (I've read somewhere not to mix the MT,but...). ... no idea where it says not to mix the MT?Also chop up reishi mushrooms with my best fillet knife and cook it in thecrock pot overnight.... the red reishi i get are dry and it takes a lot of whacking at the witha cleaver to be able to break them in chunks the blender or coffee beangrinder will grind further down. so i stopped buying whole ones and boughtsliced... they are much easier to deal with, as they are sliced thin and canbe used as is to boil down, and to have some ground fine for

other use theybreak up by hand easy to go into the machine.i make tea from reishi, green tea, dandelion (mix of roots and tops). for abig jar to keep in frig i boil down a bunch of reishi first, then make somewith large teaballs for the green tea and dandelion, and mix with the reishijuice. add fresh squeezed lemon & /or lime and a bit of raw honey andsprinkles of cinnamon and ginger ... that stuff is good! for winter hot teai use the reishi finely pulverized in teaball along with the green tea anddandelion a cup at a time.http://www.jhsnp.com/index.html (my reishi source).... i've been buying mine from some chinese ebay sellers "chinese balance"for great price compared to anywhere else i could find online a couple yearsago. nice folks.I take so much crap I couldn't begin to tell you what works or

doesn't.... me too. i know CSilver works great. i think i could tell good feelingsfrom trying dessicated thymus, so i bought some bulk of that and dessicatedliver and cap that up. Bob, when you find that article that says MT doesn't wirk as a tea, post it, I'll keep drinking it (pretty tasteless), but would like to readit.... if you mean this bob, i'm not going to keep looking. if anyone contendsthere's serious downsides to it they should look it up and post it. i don'tmake MT tea as yet, probably won't unless more convinced i should, and amshopping for 80% extract caps to take along with R-ALA, Se, B's as i'mpretty sure i'm not getting enough from my use of MT powder (capped up alongwith maitake) or whole sead (freshly ground and added to smoothie) as i'vebeen doing. As far as the commune

thing. I have to agree and find the whole lineon the subject off topic but quite amusing. Maybe they could make a movie,The Hepper Colony. We're all crammed together on an island (maybe Gloria's).At least it might bring us some publicity and tax reasearch dollars.... maybe a hepper colony large enough to include all known and probableinfected in the country, so it would have to be probably the size of acouple new england states with at least one big city with airport/harbor.that would illustrate the size of the problem. there's lots of creativepossibilities. star Kurt of course. Don't forget, write your congressman, they are in the listening moodright now. ------------------------------------
