Newbie-trying to find answers for my moms pain

Hello! I am new to this group. I am trying to find answers for my

mom. She has been dealing with severe back pain for a few years

now. I'm going to explain it as best as I can. If anyone has any

questions let me know.

The pain is in her lower back. She is in constant pain. The

doctors have her on all sorts of different pain meds. She does not

want to live on pain killers. The pain meds don't even take the

pain away. Everyday she deals with pain. She also has pain going

down her legs. I guess some of the nerves are being pinched. She

has had many mris... laying down. The tests do not show that

anything is wrong. So the doctors say there is nothing they can do

to help her. The pain is mostly when she is standing and sitting

down. She can't even sit in the bathroom without being in major

pain because of the pressure on her spine. I am not a doctor so it

is hard for me to explain what she is feeling/going through. Please

ask any questions that might help me to get her the right

care/treatment or find the answers she needs.
