I went to a chiroprator for yrs. The trick is to find one that specalizes in

sports chiropractic and you need to go totally limb and relax. any resistance

will cause problems.

At the time a chiro really hurt me too, i would enter the practice crouched over

and leave in worse condition.

The chiro would insist on me doing push up like back curves, leaving my hips on

the bed and raising myself on my arms. She did that thing where my shoulders lay

flat and she twist my hips cracking my back, ouch.

One word sums up that professional.

Idiot!

In summary the best i found was a sports injury masseur, initially i was

impressed by her observation and analysis prior to my surgery, i simply stated i

had a bad back, within a matter of a minute she concluded major swelling at

L3,4,5 and treat me accordingly.

At present my best form of treatment is my body inverter, i hang by my feet for

about 10 minutes when i can removing the load from my discs works a treat.

I took a photo one day (camera inverted also) whilst up side down and i swear i

look ten years younger LOL.

All the best

Subject: Re: Re: Sam's back injury update!

This is the first time I have had anyone say they were injured by a

chiropractor. I too was injured by one in 1973. He was like my last chance I was

in so much pain I thought why not he can't make it any worse. Boy was I ever

wrong. I had a disc out L-5 S-1 and he pushed my knees up into my chest and

pulled my legs down as hard as he could. When doing this procedure he ruptured

the disc. I left in a wheel chair and stayed there until I had surgery 4 months

later. This is what my doctor said probably happened to me. I just know it was

the worse pain of my life and I had 3 baby girls all under 4 with a newborn. It

was a very difficult time. But we have to beware of people who swear they can

help us with manipulation some can but some can't.
